The state of California is warning 23andMe customers to delete their data because odds are good that the company is going to go bankrupt.
If I were you I would prioritize doing this.
@ernie - and also cross my fingers *really* hard that doing so actually works. Remember, even deleting a file on your own harddrive doesn't actually delete it; it just removes it from the index. Most platforms offer some sort of "undo deletion" function, which they can do because your stuff remains on the server, even when you think you've deleted it.
If this data is considered valuable there's a very real possibility somebody will keep it. As we also know, illegality is no deterrence.
