I heard this on #StephMiller this morning and had to see it for myself.
T****'s #PressSecretary, #BaghdadKaroline, argued with an #AP reporter (who ISN'T an idiot), insisting that #tariffs "are a tax on foreign countries (like we can tax another country) and a tax CUT for the American people."
When the reporter asks this dumbass if she has "ever paid a #tariff?", she goes full T****, indignantly declares she's insulted and insults the AP.

U.S. District Judge Trevor N. McFadden’s decision was only for the moment, however. He told attorneys for the #Trump admin & the #AP that the issue required more exploration before ruling.
McFadden peppered both sides with questions during arguments over a lawsuit the AP filed Friday saying that its #FirstAmendment rights were being violated by the ban, which began gradually 2 weeks ago.
On Fri, the #AP filed suit in the US Dist Court for DC against 3 #Trump admin ofcls….The complaint specifically objected to the WH ordering the AP to use specific words in reporting & stated it had filed suit “to vindicate its rights to the editorial independence guaranteed by the United States Constitution & to prevent the executive branch from coercing journalists to report the news using only government-approved language.”
A tweet posted by #EdMartin, #Trump’s nominee and the current interim acting US Attorney for the District of Columbia [& a #Jan6 advocate], raised alarms among observers across the partisan political aisle Monday afternoon for his comments about the president’s ongoing dispute with the #AssociatedPress.
The Trump admin has barred #AP reporters from the Oval Office, Air Force One, & other official White House events because they use the correct geographical designation the #GulfOfMexico.
In stopping the #AP from attending #press events at the #WhiteHouse & Mar-a-Lago, or flying on Air Force One in the agency’s customary spot, the Trump team directly cited the AP’s decision not to fully follow the president’s renaming.
“We’re going to keep them out until such time as they agree that it’s the Gulf of America,” #Trump said Tues.
“The #press & all people in the #UnitedStates have the right to choose their own words & not be retaliated against by the government,” the #AP said in its lawsuit, which names #Trump #WhiteHouse Chief of Staff #SusanWiles, Dpty Chief of Staff #TaylorBudowich & Press Secy #KarolineLeavitt.
“This targeted attack on the AP’s editorial independence & ability to gather & report the news strikes at the very core of the #FirstAmendment,” the AP said. “This court should remedy it immediately.”
The #AssociatedPress sued 3 #Trump admin ofcls Fri over #access to presidential events, citing #FreedomOfSpeech in asking a federal judge to stop the 10-day blocking of its #journalists.
The lawsuit was filed Fri afternoon in US Dist Court in Washington, DC.
