That is better for you, if you only knew.”

A Call for General Mobilization in Defense of Gaza, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa

In light of the zionist occupation’s escalating brutal aggression and its perpetration of massacres against our people in the Gaza Strip, as well as its continued crimes in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque—with full American support and complete international silence—

We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), call upon our people, our Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world to rise up in a general mobilization this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, in defense of Gaza, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa; in support of our people’s steadfastness; and in rejection of the occupation’s crimes and those who support it.

We call for intensifying marches and solidarity events in all cities and capitals, making these blessed days of Ramadan days of full-scale mobilization. Use all means to pressure for an end to the killing, siege, and starvation. Support Gaza and heal its wounds, support Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa and strengthen their steadfastness, and expose the crimes of the occupation and the U.S. support behind them.

We call for the following:

First:
To our people in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and occupied Palestine:
Make your way to Al-Aqsa Mosque, remain steadfast and observe i’tikāf (spiritual retreat), confront the occupation and its settler mobs in all arenas, in support of Gaza, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa.

Second:
To our people of the occupied interior and in the diaspora on the occasion of Land Day (March 30):
Take to the streets in massive popular marches, rejecting policies of displacement and annexation, and affirming our right of return and liberation.

Third:
To the Arab and Islamic nations and the free people of the world:
Make the upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday days of rage and protest everywhere. Continue to pressure the occupation and its backers through mass demonstrations, besieging zionist and American embassies, and exposing the genocide committed against our people.

Fourth:
To the leaders and governments of the Arab and Islamic world:
Take up your historical responsibilities. Take a decisive stand to end the aggression, lift the siege on Gaza, and support the steadfastness of our people.

Fifth:
To mosque preachers and religious speakers:
Dedicate the upcoming Friday sermon to the issue of Palestine, Gaza, and Al-Quds. Urge the Ummah (nation) to support and stand with the Palestinian people, to enhance their resoluteness, their steadfastness on their land, and their defense of their land and holy sites.

Let the coming days be days of overwhelming anger everywhere against the occupation and its backers. Let this enemy and its supporters know that Palestine, Gaza, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa have brave men and free people who answer the call for support and solidarity, raising their voices and taking a united stand against the occupation and those aligned with it.

Let the actions and protests continue until the aggression ends and the siege is lifted.

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)

Tuesday, 25 Ramadan 1446 AH
Corresponding to 25 March 2025 CE

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=17862

#alAqsaFlood #callToAction #gaza #hamas #palestine #resistance

abolitionmedia
Hamas has Rebuilt Forces to Over 25,000 Fighters

A group of Zionist Knesset members (MKs) said on 16 March that Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) have “restored their military strength” in Gaza and that the occupatiuon military has failed to achieve its war goals amid stalled ceasefire negotiations, Zionist newspaper Walla reported.

“In recent days, we have been informed that the military strength of Hamas and Islamic Jihad has been restored, such that Hamas has over 25,000 and Islamic Jihad has over 5,000 armed terrorists,” stated the Knesset members.

The MKs, including opposition members of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, made the claim in a petition they sent calling for an urgent committee hearing with the participation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and War Minister Israel Katz.

A committee hearing is necessary due to the “failure to achieve the war’s goals and the harm to security and national interests.”

MKs Gadi Eisenkot, Ram Ben Barak, Meir Cohen, Elazar Stern, Moshe Tor Paz, Sharon Nir, and Merv Michaeli signed the petition.

“In the past month, the ‘Israeli’ government has not fulfilled its responsibility as the supreme commander of the IDF, and is not advancing the war goals of returning the kidnapped and destroying Hamas’ military and governmental power,” the petition stated.

The MKs further claimed that Netanyahu and his ministers are acting in violation of war cabinet decisions to “realize the goal of returning the abductees” and to immediately conscript ultra-Orthodox Jewish men studying the Torah in religious schools known as Yeshivas.

Efforts to exchange Zionist captives in Gaza for Palestinians in occupation prisons have stalled in recent weeks, with the regime refusing to move to the next phase of a ceasefire agreement reached with the Palestinian resistance in January.

Late on Saturday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed Zionist negotiators to continue the negotiations based on a proposal by US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff that calls for the “immediate release of 11 living hostages and half of the deceased hostages.”

Earlier, Hamas said it was ready to accept a previous proposal from US envoy Adam Boehler, which called for the release of a living Zionist-US soldier, Edan Alexander, along with the bodies of four other dual-US citizens in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.

After Boehler held direct talks with Hamas officials, occupation leaders became angry, and President Donald Trump removed him from his position.

Hamas is seeking a permanent end to the war, a complete Zionist withdrawal from Gaza, the reopening of border crossings for aid, and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

The regime is seeking to extend the first phase until mid-April and insists that any transition to the second phase must include “the total demilitarization” of Gaza.

Despite the existing ceasefire, the Zionist military continues to conduct near-daily air strikes in Gaza.

On Saturday, Zionist airstrikes in the city of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza killed nine people, including aid workers and Palestinian journalists. abolitionmedia
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Revolutionary Who Fought For The Oppressed

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is a revolutionary who, until his last breath, fought to liberate the oppressed who fought for freedom, for justice, and for dignity.

What can be said about our beloved leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the revolutionary, visionary, and iconic leader who held a highly revered status among his people?

A man who, through his words and actions, became an inspiration to the oppressed across the globe, a man whose honor, morality, integrity, deep compassion, and empathy shone like a beacon of light in an increasingly dark and evil world.

How many heroes have we lost, too many, too soon, and too young?

The fascist and racist Zionist cabal that infests Palestine brutally assassinated Sayyed Nasrallah. His martyrdom stood as a testament to his unwavering support for justice for the oppressed.

He was martyred in the service of his people, for the liberation of others, with him being a soldier on the battlefield, a warrior in an eternal struggle of right vs. wrong, just vs. unjust, and morality vs. immorality. Faced with occupation, he chose freedom, he took a stance to make a difference, struggling with every fiber of his being to end tyranny and to bring peace to the world through the strength of his character.

This is how I remember Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. He has taken his place among the legion of fallen martyrs stretching from Lebanon through Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Chile, Ireland, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Sayyed Nasrallah, like Che Guevara, Allende, Patrice Lumumba, Chavez, Mandela, Connolly, and Gandhi, lives on in the hearts of all those who rail against injustice, the enslavement of people, and the inequality shown through corrupt practices of imperialism, colonialism, and capitalism.

The movement, led by Sayyed Nasrallah, was a reaction to the Zionist occupation of his country, the colonial occupation of Palestine, and Western hegemonic interference in West Asia.

Sayyed Nasrallah became the hero, fighter, and liberator he was under the harsh conditions imposed upon him and his country.

He is not just a huge loss to his family, community, nation, and region; he is an irreplaceable loss to the Axis of Resistance, his global comrades, and humanity.

I mourn his passing but take solace in knowing he was martyred as he lived, leading the battle to liberate the world from evil and end people’s suffering.

He died in the fight against fascism. He died in the fight for humanity. He died for freedom. He died for justice. He died for you, and he died for me.

“Without dignity, there is no liberty, without justice, there is no dignity, and without independence, there are no free men,” Patrice Lumumba once said.

“So long as there is imperialism in the world, a permanent peace is impossible,” Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

I will miss his intellect, humor, humility, compassion, and empathy for the oppressed, the marginalized, the isolated, the downtrodden, the poor, and the occupied.

Most of all, I miss his speeches. His words defied the empire, shook the imperialist centers of power to their very core, and embodied the voice of resistance for all to hear.

My hero is this eternal legend who is Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, whom we may not see his like again.

We loved his wisdom, and we shall honor his legacy.

Even in death, his vision to liberate West Asia from foreign interlopers may yet come to pass. That would be our inheritance, a world that he envisaged as one of peace and justice, thus being worth struggling for.
source: Al Mayadeen
https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=17123

#alAqsaFlood #gaza #hassanNasrallah #lebanon #palestine #westAsia

abolitionmedia
Palestinian Resistance and World Opinion Outraged by Brazen US Colonial Gaza Scheme

After US President Donald Trump introduced his “takeover” scheme for the Gaza Strip, which entails the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians recovering from the 15-month-long Zionist genocide, a wave of backlash swept the political scene as world leaders condemned and rejected the plot.

Trump predicted the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, home to more than two million Palestinians, could become “the Riviera of the Middle East” as he announced his plan to seize the territory, even if it entails the ethnic cleansing of around 2.4 million people.

“The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it, too. We’ll own it. And be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on this site,” Trump said.

“The Riviera of the Middle East. This could be something that could be so magnificent,” Trump said at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at which he again voiced hopes that Palestinians could be forced out of their homeland and said the United States would redevelop the territory.

Although Trump’s rhetoric was blunt, the idea of forcibly displacing Palestinians from their homeland has been a recurring theme in Zionist discourse since the establishment of the occupation. Often referred to with terminology like “transfer” or “incentivized immigration,” these terms have long served as a facade for what is, in effect, ethnic cleansing. The strategy has relied on making life in the occupied territories increasingly intolerable, pushing millions of Palestinians into permanent displacement under the guise of voluntary relocation.

Now, Trump sets his sights on the ravaged Palestinian territories for a new urban development project, a plan that, if realized, would result in the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.

Meanwhile, a smug Netanyahu said that Trump’s plan for the US to take control of the Gaza Strip would “change history.” The Zionist prime minister said, “It’s worth paying attention to” Trump’s ideas on Gaza.

The US president further explained that he expected the US to take “long-term ownership” of the Gaza Strip, saying that it would create “thousands of jobs” in the region. He also called for the displacement of Palestinians outside the Gaza Strip, after previously suggesting that they be housed in Egypt and Jordan on a permanent basis.

He said that he would not allow for “the rebuilding and occupation” of Gaza by the same people, instead floating the idea of a US takeover of the besieged territory.

“It should not go through a process of rebuilding and occupation by the same people that have really stood there and fought for it and lived there and died there and lived a miserable existence there,” he said.

“I do see a long-term ownership position, and I see it bringing great stability to that part of the Middle East and maybe the entire Middle East,” Trump told reporters.

“This was not a decision made lightly, everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land,” he boasted.

Despite regional governments, parties, and Palestinians rejecting the displacement of Palestinians Trump continued to tout the idea, making it the focal point of Tuesday’s meeting with Netanyahu.

“We continue to press for this idea that Jordan and Egypt take Palestinians from Gaza,” he said. “Yeah, I would like to see Jordan, I’d like to see Egypt take some [Palestinians].”

Reports state that Jordan, a long participation in US and Zionist colonialism, is potentially preparing to declare war on the entity if the US scheme moves forward. Another US imperialist puppet, the Egyptian state, released a statement strongly opposing the scheme stating it is a threat to Egyptian national security and could put the Camp David Accords at risk.

Universally the project was condemned by nation-states and political organizations. For instance, Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro weighed in on former US President Donald Trump’s remarks about Gaza, warning that such a move could trigger an even worse war.

“They are about to ignite the worst war, based on their belief that they are God’s chosen people,” Petro said.

He emphasized that “God’s people are not white Americans or ‘Israelis.’ God’s people are all of humanity.”

The Palestinian Resistance also issued harsh condemnation of US colonial ambitions in Palestine.

Hamas condemned Trump’s statements “in the strongest terms.” “We affirm that these statements are hostile to our people and our cause and will not serve stability in the region. Rather, they will pour oil on the fire. We will not allow any country in the world to occupy our land or impose guardianship over our great Palestinian people who have offered rivers of blood to liberate our land from occupation and to establish our Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.”

Hamas called on Trump to retract his statements, which they deemed irresponsible and at odds with international law. They called on the Arab League and UN to address these comments.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad considered that Trump’s comments, made while receiving the wanted Netanyahu, “are nothing more than a new version of the ill-fated Balfour Promise—where those who have nothing are promised to those who do not deserve it.”

They called the event “a meeting between the war criminal and the arrogant real estate mogul, which epitomized the reality of the American-zionist project in our region.” This project works through intimidation, brute force, and genocide, “flouting all laws, regulations, and the will of our peoples.”

PIJ affirmed that these statements leave no doubt that the US is leading a war of genocide, displacement, and the expansion of occupation. They considered Trump’s plans, from ending UNRWA to seizing land, are a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security.

PIJ concluded: “Our Palestinian people, who have been resisting for over a hundred years, will not succumb to the dictates of Trump or anyone else. His foolish statements will only serve as motivation for us to reinforce our resistance until we achieve our objectives of liberating our land and ending the occupation. Our Palestinian people and their resistance forces are more determined and resolute than ever in confronting these conspiracies, and we call on the Arab and Islamic peoples to stand against this conspiratorial project, which targets all the peoples of our region and portends serious impending threats.”

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine was similarly direct: Gaza is not a real estate project.

They considered the statements “nothing but an extension of the genocide war waged by the Zionist enemy under the direct American cover, and an attempt to establish a new colonial project based on ethnic cleansing and the uprooting of our people from their land.”

They added: “Gaza is not a commodity in the hands of a war merchant like Trump or anyone else; rather, it is an integral part of historical Palestine, which stretches from Ras al-Naqoura to Rafah, and it is the gateway upon which the forces of colonialism have repeatedly crashed throughout history.”

“Any dream of controlling Gaza is merely an illusion that will shatter against the rock of the steadfastness and resistance of our people, and the fate of any American occupation force in the Strip will be no different from that of the zionist enemy; our people will confront it with all their strength and determination, just as they repelled the zionist aggression.”

“Gaza will forever remain a graveyard for invaders and an oasis of steadfastness and resistance for its free and dignified people.”

The PFLP called on all people to “confront this colonial scheme.” “We especially urge the active forces in the United States to take to the streets and declare their rejection of this new crime, which reflects the true face of American imperialism that colludes with the zionist occupation. Our struggle against this colonial, extirpatory project is the battle of all free peoples who reject colonialism, displacement, and the uprooting of a free people from their land.”

The Mujahideen Movement strongly condemned the statements of Trump and those around him. They considered the statements to reflect a determination to continue aggression against the Palestinian people. They noted that attempts to obstruct reconstruction serve the zionist agenda. They affirmed that Trump will not achieve what Biden was not able to. “The genocide committed by the Nazi zionists with American weaponry failed to displace our people, and Trump’s threats will not succeed in what their criminal arms failed to achieve.

The Deputy Secretary-General, Dr. Salem Attallah, suggested moving zionist settlers to an American state, as “no zionist invader will ever have our security and safety on our land as long as there’s a people and the determines resistance committed to reclaiming all its legitimate rights.” He noted that the international system has become a tool of American-zionist hegemony and arrogance.

The Movement also noted that Trump’s reception of the criminal Netanyahu represents contempt for ICC decisions, and they rejected his statements that “expose the ugly face of the United States.” They stated, like other factions, that Trump’s plans are a serious threat to the region and world. Yet, they noted that a people who faced American weapons for 15 months will not kneel to American words: “his plans will fail due to the steadfast resistance of our people.”

The Popular Resistance Committees saw the statements as embodying American values. They considered Trump’s reception of Netanyahu as a reward for his “fascist entity’s genocide against women, children, and the elderly…with American support.”

They called for popular action rejecting Trump’s statements globally to confront their danger.

Abu Mujahid affirmed that the Palestinian people and their resistance will thwart the goals of the zionist enemy, remaining steadfast and again foiling displacement plans.

“The plan to displace and eradicate our people has fallen and failed under the feet of our displaced people who returned to their land from which they were displaced under the bombing, destruction and war of zionist-American genocide.”

He added that “Egypt and Jordan will not allow the existence of an alternative homeland for the Palestinians…” and that American administrations have not broken the will of the Palestinian people despite their unlimited resources.

Abu Mujahid noted: “If Arab countries refuse to normalize with the zionist entity and submit to the American decision biased towards the criminal zionist entity, and stop paying the billions of dollars with which America finances its aggression against our peoples, then the criminal Trump will not be able to implement his malicious criminal plans.”

“It is time for us, as a Palestinian people, to put aside all our differences and adhere to our unity on the basis of protecting the constants and legitimate Palestinian national rights.”

An appeal issued by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Jamil Mazhar

Unity of the national ranks to confront the American-Zionist plans for displacement and ethnic cleansing

In light of the dangerous developments that have been revealed again through the statements of US President Donald Trump, which were not limited to justifying the crimes of the occupation and supplying it with weapons, but extended to reveal American intentions to control the sector and impose arrangements aimed at forcibly displacing our people and redrawing the political and geographical landscape in a way that serves the occupation and its expansionist projects, we in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine call for a unified and serious national position to confront these liquidation projects that target our existence, identity and historical rights.

What our people are exposed to today from comprehensive Zionist aggression, escalation of aggression and Judaization plans in the West Bank, and premeditated Zionist intentions for the systematic forced displacement of our people, is part of an integrated plan aimed at reproducing a new Nakba with direct American support. Trump’s recent statements about the need for “complete control over #Gaza” clearly reveal the true intentions of the US administration and its partners in the Zionist entity, who seek to empty the Strip of its population in order to achieve plans targeting the West Bank by imposing new facts on the ground. It is no longer acceptable for the state of waiting or fragmentation and division in the #Palestinian arena to continue. What is required today is a comprehensive and unified confrontation of these dangers, by rejecting all internal differences and immediately engaging in a comprehensive national and popular confrontation.

In this context, we call for:

1. Demanding President Mahmoud Abbas to call for an immediate meeting of the secretaries-general of the #Palestinian factions in order to develop a unified national plan to confront the dangers threatening the #Palestinian cause and thwart the US-Zionist plans, so that this meeting results in the formation of a temporary national leadership that will manage the field and political confrontation, strengthen the steadfastness of our people, organize popular movements and resistance against the occupation, and thwart displacement and liquidation projects.

2. Forming a national consensus government to manage the situation in the West Bank and #Gaza, lead reconstruction and relief operations, and break the siege, and coordinate political, diplomatic, and legal efforts to prosecute the occupation for its crimes.

3. Escalating the confrontation in the occupied West Bank by strengthening resistance work in all its forms against the occupation army and settler gangs, and imposing new equations that put an end to the ongoing Zionist terrorism against our people.

4. Building an Arab and international position supporting our people through intensive action to expose the American-Zionist plans, mobilizing the broadest political and popular solidarity with our struggle, imposing international isolation on the Zionist entity, and blocking any attempts to provide international or regional cover for displacement and liquidation projects, especially Trump’s plans.

We are facing an existential danger that requires mobilizing all the energies of our people and unifying efforts in confronting the American-Zionist aggression, including working to defeat all attempts to dismantle or liquidate our cause. The recent American statements are a clear announcement of Trump’s and the occupation’s intentions, and are a warning to all national forces that our battle today is a battle of existence, requiring unity of position and investing all energies in serving the goal of thwarting these plans.

Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – Jamil Mazhar
Thursday: 6-February-2025
Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades – Youth of Revenge and Liberation also released a statement: O free people of our nation, this is Palestine, the land of our ancestors. It has endured successive waves of colonialism and occupation, as the entire world has, throughout history, attempted to uproot us from our land through schemes of displacement, expulsion, and extermination—from the emergence of the zionist idea up to the era of Trump. Yet, the will, resilience, and steadfastness of our people and our resistance have thwarted and will continue to thwart all these attempts. Trump and his reckless statements will pass, just as his so-called “Deal of the Century” did before him, and just as those who preceded him have vanished. Meanwhile, we shall remain firmly rooted in our land like the olive trees, with our people and our resistance, until the complete liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea.We, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades – Youth of Revenge and Liberation in Palestine, state the following:

First: We reject Trump’s statements and schemes and affirm that his continued rhetoric will ignite fire across the region and the entire world.

Second: Our people, our resistance, and the free people of the world will not stand idly by in the face of any attempts to uproot our people from their land. The western media propaganda made so much noise that made it invisible.
So, let's put it (even belatedly) as a historical document that all the West pretended never appeared.

"On the day of the attack, Deif gave an audio address, his first since 2021, justifying it as a response to the "desecration" of the al-Aqsa Mosque and the killing and wounding of hundreds of Palestinians in 2023.[19][42][43] He called on Palestinians and Arab Israelis to "expel the occupiers and demolish the walls".[43][44] Announcing the start of "Operation Al-Aqsa Storm," Deif said that "In light of the continuing crimes against our people, in light of the orgy of occupation and its denial of international laws and resolutions, and in light of American and western support, we've decided to put an end to all this so that the enemy understands that he can no longer revel without being held to account."[8][11]"

abolitionmedia
Palestinian Resistance Reclaims the Streets in Gaza in Public Display of Victory

After 470 days of relentless Zionist bombardment, Gaza emerged victorious, its people resilient in the face of brutality. As the ceasefire took effect, forcibly displaced residents rushed home, returning to their neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip.

Despite 15 months of Zionist and US efforts to eliminate the Resistance, Al-Qassam Brigades came out in celebration in military vehicles. Their arrival was met with loud cheers and chants of admiration from the people.

In a symbol of solidarity and loyalty, Gaza’s residents also showed strong support for Hamas’ leader, Mohammad Deif, by chanting slogans in his favor during the rally.

From Rafah to the northern reaches of Gaza, families rushed back to their homes, which had been reduced to rubble by airstrikes.

As soon as the Zionist military withdrew, residents began to return to the besieged areas. Amid the widespread devastation, Gazans captured images of the departing military vehicles—vehicles that had failed to breach northern towns such as Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun.

In these towns, Resistance fighters emerged from underground tunnels, fiercely defending their communities to the very last moment, embodying a spirit of resilience in the face of overwhelming odds.

In the central Gaza Strip, families returned to their homes in the Nuseirat refugee camp, while tens of thousands of forcibly displaced people also made their way back to the city of Rafah in the South.

The triumphant return of Gaza’s displaced was a powerful testament to their endurance, as they reclaimed their homes.

Zionist reactions to the ceasefire

On the Zionist side, there were no celebrations, no sense of victory, and no rallying around the government. Instead, there was widespread anger and opposition to the agreement, with many viewing it as a concession that reinforced Hamas’s status as the victor in the war.

Just hours after the ceasefire agreement in Gaza took effect, the far-right Otzma Yehudit party officially exited the coalition government, following through on its threat to withdraw if a ceasefire deal with Hamas was enacted.

Zionist Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu, and “Negev, Galilee, and National Resilience” Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf all submitted their resignation letters to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The party issued a statement confirming that effective immediately, Otzma Yehudit was no longer part of the coalition.

In his resignation letter to Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir acknowledged the “significant achievements” during the prime minister’s leadership but criticized the ceasefire deal as a “surrender-to-terror” agreement that “crosses all ideological red lines.” He argued that the ceasefire was “a complete victory for terrorism” and stated that the party would no longer support the government on ideological matters.

Former Zionist general: Hamas is the victor

After 470 days of relentless attacks on Gaza, aimed at eliminating Palestinian Resistance, Former occupation Major General Giora Eiland has admitted that the war ended in a “resounding failure for ‘Israel’” and declared Hamas the victor.

Speaking to Channel 7 on Saturday evening, Eiland stated that the regime had failed to achieve its declared objectives. “Hamas will recover from the severe blow it suffered, not all the hostages will return, and ‘Israel’ will not eliminate Hamas’s authority,” he acknowledged, reinforcing earlier critiques of the war’s outcomes.

Protests in Tel Aviv over captive exchange deal

Ahead of the ceasefire’s implementation, Tel Aviv saw widespread protests by settlers opposing the prisoner exchange deal. Demonstrators clashed with police, who deployed skunk water to disperse the crowds.

According to Zionist media, protesters expressed outrage over the agreement, demanding its cancellation. They argued that the deal “will release hundreds of Palestinian detainees, erase the achievements of the war, and pave the way for another attack similar to October 7.”

Resistance releases statements and exchange process begins

The Zionist detainees were released to the Red Cross in an incredibly public fashion demonstrating the degree of support and resilience the Palestinian Resistance maintained throughout the conflict.

Three Zionist detainees were released and driven back into the occupation entity. In turn, 90 Palestinian prisoners were returned to the occupied West Bank — mainly women and children — with huge celebrations erupting. Abeer Baara, Walaa Tanja, Murjana Hreash, and Raeda Barghouti, amongst dozens of other women were released. PFLP feminist leader Khalida Jarrar, who has been kept in solitary confinement is now free! Hamas released an initial statement on the implementation of the ceasefire:
We address our great people in the heroic and steadfast Gaza with the highest expressions of greeting and pride, and we renew our pledge to them, to be the trustees of their rights and defenders of them, until the complete liberation of the land and the holy sites.

The whole world today must stand in reverence for the legendary steadfastness of our people in Gaza, and in appreciation of their patience and sacrifices over the course of 471 days.

With the entry into force of the ceasefire, we affirm our commitment to implementing the terms of the agreement, which is the fruit of the steadfastness and patience of our great people, and the legendary steadfastness of our valiant resistance in the face of the zionist machine of terrorism and killing.

Our heroic prisoners have an appointment with freedom starting today, and this is our firm pledge with them always, until they break the shackles of the jailer and breathe freedom in the skies of Palestine.

We are monitoring the operations of bringing in aid and providing relief to our people with everything necessary, and we confirm that all efforts will be made to provide all the necessary support and assistance requirements to restore the cycle of life in the Gaza Strip to normal.

Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas

Sunday: 19 Rajab 1446 AH
Corresponding to: 19 January 2025

While Abu Obeida gave his first signficant speech in months. Reaching an agreement to stop the aggression and the genocidal war against the Palestinian people has been the Resistance’s goal for many months, Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades, said on Sunday, hours after the ceasefire agreement in Gaza came into effect.Abu Obeida began by saluting the people of Gaza for crafting “a historical epic” that will forever stand as a milestone in the history of the Palestinian people.

He highlighted that during the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, multiple fronts were opened against the occupation entity, and a naval blockade was even imposed on it.

Al-Aqsa Flood Battle has introduced new dynamics to the struggle against the occupation entity, Abu Obeida pointed out, emphasizing that the peoples of the world have come to recognize the occupation’s very existence as the greatest sin ever committed.

The spokesperson praised the unity of the Resistance factions, stating, “We fought shoulder to shoulder with our brethren in all the Resistance factions as one entity with utmost steadfastness across the entirety of the Gaza Strip.”

Despite seemingly impossible circumstances by military standards, according to Abu Obeida, the Resistance confronted the enemy with faith and limited weaponry, while the occupation relied on support from the world’s strongest military powers.

He pointed to the leadership of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, noting that its “greatness” lies in the martyrdom of its leaders, including martyrs Ismail Haniyeh, Saleh al-Arouri, and Yahya Sinwar.

Throughout the battle, the Resistance sought a swift end to the war to spare the blood of the Palestinian people, he said, adding that “every drop of blood spilled on this land was for the sake of liberating the land and sanctities.”

Declaring commitment to the ceasefire agreement, Abu Obeida made it clear that this commitment is contingent on the enemy’s adherence to the ceasefire and the terms of the exchange agreement.

He reaffirmed the Resistance’s keenness to ensure the success of the agreement’s terms and stages to protect the lives of the Palestinian people.

‘Brothers in arms’

Abu Obeida extended profound gratitude to all those who stood with the Resistance “in the face of injustice and tyranny.” He particularly extended gratitude “to the sincere brothers, Ansar Allah,” and the Yemeni people, whose vehement spirit astonished the world.

He also saluted “the brothers in arms and battle in the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, and behind them, the free people of Lebanon, who have long been a support and ally to the Palestinian Resistance and revolution for many decades.”

In this battle, the Lebanese people have “paid a heavy price with the leadership of the Resistance, its fighters, and the sons of the Lebanese brotherly people,” Abu Obeida noted.

They “embodied the unity of blood, destiny, and purpose alongside their brethren in Gaza and Palestine,” he added.

Abu Obeida also extended heartfelt salutations to the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, describing it as “Gaza’s spiritual sister” in resistance and steadfastness.

He also expressed gratitude to Iran for its unwavering support and involvement in this historic struggle through Operation True Promise and unwavering support through all possible means. Additionally, he saluted “the free Iraqi Resistance” and the “courageous fighters in Jordan, who crossed borders and pointed their weapons in the right direction,” along with the free people worldwide who demonstrated in solidarity with Gaza and declared their support for the Resistance.

“O our people, we will rebuild together what the occupation has destroyed,” al-Qassam’s spokesperson declared. He also underlined that “this is a time for solidarity, compassion, and cooperation,” vowing to thwart all the occupation’s plans and ambitions.

He affirmed that every attempt to integrate the Zionist entity into the region “would be met with a flood of awareness, deeply entrenched resistance, and the unwavering support of free peoples worldwide.”

“This criminal enemy remains the root cause of all suffering in the region,” Abu Obeida underscored.

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/?p=13827

#alAqsaFlood #alQassam #gaza #hamas #palestine #victory

abolitionmedia

Following a series of lethal improvised explosive devices (IEDs) ambushes in the northern Gaza Strip town of Jabalia, al-Qassam Brigades has taken responsibility for executing another of these ambushes.

IEDs planted in buildings and other areas in the northern Gaza Strip continue to cut into the Zionist military’s renewed aggression on Jabalia, with the most recent case killing two soldiers and injuring another.

In a related development, a Zionist soldier was killed early Saturday morning in the northern Gaza Strip due to a grenade explosion, the Israeli military reported. Simultaneously, the Military Police have reportedly initiated an investigation into the incident, which appears to be unrelated to ongoing combat. While the Israeli army has not released the soldier’s identity, local authorities have identified him as Shneur Zalman Cohen from the occupied West Bank settlement of Yitzhar.

In a related context, the Zionist military command announced, on Saturday, that two soldiers, serving under the 162nd Armored Division’s 84th Givati Infantry Brigade, were killed in the northern Gaza Strip. Zionist broadcaster Channel 14 reported that an IED planted in a building eliminated the two soldiers.

No Palestinian faction has taken responsibility for Saturday’s operation to this point.

Al-Qassam eliminates Zionist ‘Ghosts’

Reports indicate that the two soldiers were killed in a building, which is in close proximity to another building where four elite troops were killed on October 29.

On Saturday, Hamas’ military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, took responsibility for the operation which led to the demise of the four troops. According to statements made by the Israeli military command, one officer and three soldiers, from Unit 888, an elite multidomain force known as “Ghosts”, were killed.

Later, authorities revealed that the force was tasked with clearing a building in Jabalia, which was intended to be used as a command post in the area. However, Al-Qassam Brigades fighters had booby-trapped the structure, killing the four and injuring three others who reached the top floor of the building.

401st Brigade commander falls into Jabalia trap

Yet, the most significant of these incidents is the elimination of the commander of the 162nd Division’s 401st Armored Brigade, Colonel Ehsan Daqsa, on October 20.

Daqsa was among the highest-ranking officers leading the third Israeli ground aggression on Jabalia. The Zionist commander arrived at a site, believed to be a cleared observation point, alongside several other officers.

The Israeli officers were also targeted by al-Qassam fighters, who had set up a claymore in the area, killing Daqsa and wounding several others, including his subordinate, who commands the 52nd Armored Battalion.

Operations announced on Saturday

Palestinian Resistance fighters are also engaging invading Israeli forces in direct confrontations. Al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters, who had returned from the frontlines in the Jabalia refugee camp, reported targeting two Israeli military D9 bulldozer in one operation.

In another operation, Al-Qassam fighters targeted a D9 bulldozers and detonated an anti-personnel IED into an infantry force, in what they said was a multi-stage ambush.

As for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades, fighters launched a rocket attack that targeted the city settlement of Sderot and the Mefalsim settlement on Saturday.

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/post/2024/11/04/al-qassam-takes-responsibility-for-ambush/

#alAqsaFlood #alQassam #gaza #hamas #palestine #resistance #westAsia

abolitionmedia

A significant shift has taken place on the southern Lebanese front in the last few days. Barely had Benjamin Netanyahu’s government announced its new war goal of returning displaced settlers to their northern homes and begun the transfer of military weight to the north before Tel Aviv launched a series of incendiary strikes throughout Lebanon.

The Zionist regime’s first salvo was two terror attacks conducted simultaneously in several parts of the country by detonating consumer-tech devices – pagers and walkie-talkies – that killed 39 civilians and permanently blinded and dismembered thousands more. Two days later, Zionist fighter jets bombed two residential buildings in Beirut’s southern suburb, killing 54 people, including women and children, and assassinating several commanders of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Forces, including the head of the forces, Ibrahim Aqil, while expanding its air strikes to target what the Israelis claimed were Hezbollah’s “military capabilities.”

The Lebanese Resistance movement does not deny that the strikes on the southern suburb were painful for both Hezbollah and its supporters. But they make clear that the attacks did not affect either their military structure or operation capabilities. The evidence of this came swiftly, with an initial Hezbollah retaliation targeting the Ramat David Military Airbase – the main base for occupation airforce strikes on Lebanon and Syria – and the Rafael military industries complex, southeast and north of Haifa, respectively.

These massive retaliations were intended to mainly confirm to the occupation forces that Hezbollah has no plans to retreat from its own stated goals of pressuring Tel Aviv to end its assault on Gaza – and that it will not allow the Zionists to separate and compartmentalize the Gaza front from the Lebanon one, as the US has sought to do throughout ceasefire negotiations.

Bombing ‘Dahiyeh’

The occupation military’s access to the resistance’s leadership is clearly the result of years or even decades of intelligence efforts. It must be acknowledged that what happened in Dahiyeh – or Beirut’s southern suburb – last Friday showcased Tel Aviv’s ability to identify and target the location of a meeting of Radwan Forces leaders, the vaunted Hezbollah special forces that Zionists have obsessed over for years.

The execution of the assassination operation, compounded by Zionist “leaks” that a “reliable intelligence source” provided them with target intel, gives the impression that Zionist operatives were able to create a security breach close to Radwan’s inner circle.

In reality, it is impossible to verify Zionists claims for several reasons, primarily because Tel Aviv is waging a media war of disinformation and employing psychological warfare to target both the resistance and the occupation’s own domestic constituents.

For certain, no additional information was provided by Hezbollah about the Dahiyeh attack – whether a breach of security occurred in its ranks or something else. The resistance group is known for keeping tight control over information derived from internal investigations and has rarely deviated from that strategy. If Hezbollah manages to gather new information from its investigations into the regime’s pager terror attack or from the Dahiyeh bombing, it will surely use it only internally to build on its flaws and minimize vulnerabilities.

The occupations goals

The occupation state’s violent rampage against Lebanon last week sought to achieve several goals:

First, to widely disrupt Hezbollah’s command and control system by striking its communications networks and targeting central and pivotal leaders.

Second, to pressure Hezbollah to disengage from the Gaza front, which has strategic consequences in the short and long term.

Third, Tel Aviv is trying to alter the security paradigm on its border with Lebanon and implement more advantageous conditions that give the occupation an upper hand in its 11-month battle with the Lebanese resistance. The Zionist are desperately seeking new, favorable rules of engagement with their northern adversary – an ambition sought since the regime was militarily ousted from Lebanon in 2000 and then again in 2006.

Fourth, the Zionists are working to prepare the ground for a future hot war that will enable it to attack the resistance at a critical political moment that serves its interests. Lastly, Tel Aviv’s recent attacks are meant to send other regional actors a hard message, in particular West Asia’s Resistance Axis, by demonstrating that they can effectively target and degrade their ‘masterminds.’

The fallout for Hezbollah

Hezbollah has not concealed that Zionists terror and assassination attacks last week, which continue heavily today in Lebanon’s south, where hundreds of civilians have been killed since the morning, have had a chilling and demoralizing effect. However, several indicators show that the Lebanese resistance has been able to absorb these blows and adapt rapidly without impacting its structure or operations capabilities.

Thus far, it is hard to argue that Tel Aviv has succeeded in its goal of disrupting Hezbollah’s command and control. Massive killing sprees throughout Lebanon will not impact a resistance movement that has fought guerrilla battles since its inception and has grown tremendously in sophistication – both tactically, strategically, and in terms of qualitative missile technology.

Instead, Hezbollah continues to firmly maintain its position on the regime ending its military assault on Gaza and has quickly rearranged its internal affairs to retaliate against the occupation state – even launching a new phase of the conflict, which it calls the “open-ended battle of reckoning,” as announced by Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem during the funeral of Commander Ibrahim Aqil in Beirut.

The announcement of the new phase was authorized by the Sunday morning strikes when the Lebanese resistance targeted the Ramat David Military Airbase southeast of Haifa and the Rafael military industries complex north of the city with Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 missiles, as part of its initial retaliation.

Messages of Hezbollah’s retaliation

Through its initial retaliation and declaration of the new battle phase, Hezbollah is sending the following messages:

First, the resistance’s command-and-control system was not damaged or exposed to failure. Second, Hezbollah responded to the regime’s massive expansion of strikes by immediately deepening its retaliatory strikes to over 50 kilometers inside the occupation state. This is part of the resistance’s deterrence formula imposed on Tel Aviv: an “expansion for expansion.”

Third, Hezbollah will meet Zionist gradualism with gradualism to shuffle the military cards constantly and push the enemy to change many of its calculations.

Fourth, it will not just launch minimal retaliations to disrupt the enemy’s goals, but will meet it with forceful and demoralizing strikes as well.

Accordingly, the Zionists carpet bombing in southern Lebanon all day today, its massive Dahiyeh attack, and its state terrorism on Tuesday and Wednesday have ushered in a new phase of confrontation, in which the regime’s every initiative will be met with a counter. Perhaps the scene at the onset of the “open-ended battle of reckoning” phase – waves of rocket fire in and around the occupation state’s prized port city of Haifa – is the clearest indicator of how Hezbollah remains cohesive, capable, and determined to compete and impose new rules at every new turn with Israel.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues its operations in solidarity with Gaza and in response to Israeli aggression against Lebanon. They have targeted the Megiddo military airport west of Afula and the Ramat David base belonging to the occupation forces.

source: The Cradle

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/post/2024/09/24/while-the-zionist-entity-massacres-hezbollah-advances/

#alAqsaFlood #gaza #hezbollah #lebanon #palestine #repression #resistance #westAsia

Proletarian Rage
Since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood, the main concern of Western governments has been to prevent the defeat of the #Zionist entity both militarily and politically. Yes, the primary concern is economic interests. But beyond that there is the Paradigm. The Western (and also the eastern) #capitalist hegemony does not want an example of poor human beings, oppressed for decades, and subjected to constant humiliation, standing up. If the #Palestinian #Resistance wins, it will mean that we, the oppressed, here in the West, can win too. This is one reason why we see small States (based on imperialist hegemony) taking a protective position for the Zionist entity. If this is defeated, the power of their governments will be challenged the next day. And if the Power of the small State Entities is challenged, it will be the turn of the driving forces of #imperialism.
So if the Palestinian Resistance wins, then we will have an example of how our empires could fall.
Finally it's a great opportunity for the oppressed people around the world to shout: Victory for the Palestinian Resistance!
#alaqsaflood #palestine #gaza #nakba #capitalism #authoritarianism #authority #oppression #fightback #ClassWar

abolitionmedia

On Tuesday, coinciding with the International Day for the Retrieval and Liberation of the Bodies of the Martyrs, Dismantle Damon, a global campaign supporting Palestinian women prisoners, released details about those whose bodies remain held by the occupation regime.

According to Samidoun, a Palestinian prisoner solidarity network, there are currently 552 Palestinian martyrs whose bodies are kept in morgues and cemeteries across the occupied territories.

This includes 256 in “numbers cemeteries” and 296 imprisoned in morgues and cold storage since the apartheid Tel Aviv regime reinstated the policy of imprisoning bodies in 2015.

Among them are 9 female martyrs, 32 martyrs from the prisoners’ movement, 55 children under the age of 18, 5 martyrs from the 1948 occupied territories, and 6 martyrs who were Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, according to Samidoun.

However, several other reports estimate the actual number of bodies held by the Israeli regime to be around 1,500, many of whom died due to brutal torture and abuse at the Sde Teiman torture facility.

The nine women martyrs whose bodies have been held by the Israeli regime include Bayan Mohammed Jumaa Salama Eid, Asmaa Daraghmeh, Maimouna Harahsha, Labiba Sawafta, Wafa Baradei, Dalal al-Mughrabi, Wafa Idriss, Dareen Abu Eisheh, and Hanadi Jaradat.

Bayan Mohammed Jumaa Salama Eid

Bayan Mohammed Jumaa Salama Eid was killed by regime forces in the Tulkarem refugee camp in the occupied West Bank on July 23, 2024, following a military raid that lasted several hours.

The 22-year-old was among five Palestinians killed in a drone strike that targeted their tent, including her 50-year-old mother, Iman Mohammed Jumaa.

The occupation forces later abducted her body after attacking the camp with bulldozers and have till date refused to return it to her family.

Bayan Mohammed Jumaa Salama Eid
Maimouna Abdul Hamid Harasheh

Maimouna Abdul Hamid Harasheh, from the village of Bani Naim, east of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank, was killed on April 24, 2024, after being shot in the head at the Beit Anun checkpoint.

The 20-year-old university student, who was preparing for exams, was shot dead at what has come to be known as the “checkpoint of death.”

After being deliberately targeted, Israeli forces left Harasheh to bleed to death and then abducted her body, which remains in a military morgue.
Maimouna Abdul Hamid Harasheh
Asmaa Imad Daraghmeh

Asmaa Imad Daraghmeh was killed by Israeli regime forces on April 8, 2024, after being deliberately shot at the Tayasir checkpoint east of Tubas in the occupied northern West Bank.

The 17-year-old Daraghmeh was targeted from a distance of 10 meters (33 feet) despite posing no threat to the occupation forces.

As she lay bleeding on the street, the regime forces prevented ambulances from assisting her and watched idly as she died. Later, they took her body with them.
Asmaa Imad Daraghmeh
Wafa Abdul Rahman Baradei

Wafa Abdul Rahman Baradei was killed by Israeli occupation forces on May 19, 2021, after being shot by an armed settler near the “Kiryat Arba” settlement in the southern occupied West Bank.

The settler falsely claimed that the 34-year-old Baradei, from the al-Hallajil area near the village of Bani Naim in the Al-Khalil district, was carrying a revolver and intended to carry out an operation at the settlement.

Following her murder, the occupation forces invaded her village, ransacked her home, and abducted her body, which they have so far refused to return to her family.
Wafa Abdul Rahman Baradei
Hanadi Tayseer Jaradat

Hanadi Tayseer Jaradat was killed on October 4, 2003, in a resistance operation she carried out at the Maxim restaurant in Haifa, occupied Palestine.

The 28-year-old law student at Yarmouk University in Jordan was a member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement, alongside her brother Fadi and her cousin Salah, both of whom were killed by a Zionist settler in Jenin.

Before the operation, Jaradat declared her intention to become the sixth female martyr who would turn her body into “shrapnel” to kill Zionists. Her body remains unretrieved.
Hanadi Tayseer Jaradat
Dareen Abu Eisheh

Dareen Abu Eisheh was killed on February 27, 2002, after carrying out a resistance operation as part of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, recording her place in the annals of Palestinian history.

The 22-year-old student of English literature at An-Najah National University and an Islamic Bloc activist was known for her political activism and participation in anti-occupation demonstrations.

She first approached Hamas’ armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, and offered to be part of their operations, but the request was turned down as armed resistance was deemed the domain of men.

Later, she approached the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades of Fateh, who agreed to arm her to carry out an attack at the Maccabim checkpoint between occupied Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

“I wanted to be the second woman to carry out a martyrdom operation and take revenge for the blood of the martyrs and the destruction of the sanctity of al-Aqsa mosque,” she said in a recorded message.

She was later hailed as the “daughter of all factions,” while the occupation refused to return her remains, burying her in the “numbers cemetery.”
Dareen Abu Eisheh
Wafaa Idris:

Wafaa Idris became the first Palestinian female martyr on January 21, 2002, after carrying out a martyrdom operation against Israeli occupation forces in Tel Aviv.

The 28-year-old was a Fatah activist and refugee from the al-Ama’ri refugee camp in Ramallah, occupied West Bank.

Idris, who served as part of Fatah’s women’s committee during the first intifada, later trained as a medic and volunteered with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

She eventually joined the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades and carried out an operation in central Tel Aviv. Her remains were buried in the “numbers cemetery.”
Wafaa Idris
Labiba Faze’ Sawafta:

Labiba Faze’ Sawafta was killed when Israeli forces opened direct fire at her at the Hamra checkpoint in the northern occupied Jordan Valley, occupied West Bank.

The 43-year-old Palestinian woman from Tubas was accused of attempting a stabbing operation in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s war against Palestinians in Gaza.

She was allowed to die and her body was abducted by the regime forces.

Dalal al Mughrabi

Dalal al Mughrabi, an iconic figure in the Palestinian resistance movement, was born in the Sabra refugee camp in Lebanon to a Palestinian father and a Lebanese mother.

She trained as a nurse and joined Fatah and the Palestinian liberation movement in 1975 at the young age of 16. Mughrabi led a group of 11 Palestinian and Lebanese fighters on a mission to enter occupied Palestine and attack the regime’s war ministry or Knesset.

In a classic case of the Zionist ‘Hannibal Doctrine’, the bus that the Palestinian fighters had seized was blown up by the regime forces from a helicopter gunship, killing 38 settlers who had been held captive and 9 resistance fighters, including Mughrabi.

Her body was supposed to be returned to her family in 2008 as part of a prisoner swap deal with Hezbollah, but the regime claimed they could not “locate her body” in the “numbers cemetery” and sent a coffin containing stones instead.
Dalal al Mughrabi
Meanwhile, amid the genocidal war on Gaza, a total of 11,207 women have been killed since October 7, 2023, and thousands more are still trapped under the rubble and unaccounted for.

Most of them were educated young women with higher education degrees and big dreams.

The total death number from the Zionist-American genocide in Gaza has now risen to 40,500, 69 percent of them children and women, according to the Palestinian health ministry.

https://abolitionmedia.noblogs.org/post/2024/09/03/women-of-resistance-palestinian-women-martyrs-whose-bodies-are-held-captive-by-zionist-regime/

#alAqsaFlood #gaza #palestine #repression #westAsia #women

abolitionmedia

Palestinian Resistance fighters are confronting a renewed invasion into Gaza City’s al-Shujaiya neighborhood on Friday, after an attack into the area was launched on June 27.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades have proven their continued presence in the neighborhood by conducting a series of effective operations against invading forces for the second straight day.

Resistance destroys Zionist vehicles, deals casualties among troops in al-Shujaiya

In particular, the group had set up several improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and minefields, embedded within routes that occupation forces were expected to take when raiding the area.

In an initial operation, announced on Friday morning, the group said that its fighters blew up an armored vehicle, via an IED planted into the ground at a previous time. Resistance fighters proceeded to engage Zionist infantry forces, who were being escorted by the vehicle, from close range.

The group confirmed that several troops were either killed or wounded as a result of the operation, which took place in Talat al-Mentar in easter al-Shujaiyah.

The group also fired several mortar rounds at occupation forces positioned on the axis of advancement into the neighborhood.

In the vicinity of the Tunisian cemetery in the neighborhood, al-Quds Brigades fighters destroyed an armored vehicle, with another IED that was planted on Baghdad Street.

Al-Quds Brigades detonates F-16 bomb killing Zionist forces

However, the most impactful of these operations was an ambush set up in a building in al-Shujaiya, which saw Zionist rescue helicopters search for and transport multiple casualties.

In the operation claimed by al-Quds Brigades, sapper units had booby-trapped a tunnel situated within a building in al-Shujaiya.

A Zionist infantry force was then lured into the building by fighters, who set off the explosives. Among the explosives was an unexploded bomb launched by a Zionist fighter jet at an earlier time.

The Resistance’s combat engineers had worked on reusing the large bomb for the purpose of the operation, collapsing the building and killing those inside it.

Several other operations were also conducted in the neighborhood, leading to several casualties which were transported by multiple rescue helicopters to nearby hospitals.

Sources state that so far four Israeli soldiers have been killed in al-Shujaiya neighborhood.

Al-Qassam, PFLP conduct their own operations

Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine’s (PFLP) Abu Ali Moustapha Brigades also defended al-Shujaiya against the invasion.

The PFLP’s armed wing said that its special forces engaged occupation forces, utilizing various weapons, in the neighborhood.

On the other hand, al-Qassam fighters fired a locally produced al-Yassin tandem rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at a Merkava tank in al-Shujaiyah.

Another group of fighters fired mortar shells at armored and infantry forces positioned on Baghdad Street.

Al-Qassam Brigades fighters also engaged occupation forces from close range, which killed and injured Israeli soldiers. Fighters also monitored Israeli helicopters land to transport casualties from the battlefield.

In southwestern Gaza City, al-Qassam fighters fired a thermobaric shell at occupation forces positioned in a building in Tal al-Hawa, where helicopters were also seen transporting the casualties at a later time.

Occupation forces in Netsarim, Rafah shelled

In the Netsarim Axis, which splits the northern Gaza Strip and Gaza City from the rest of the besieged territory, al-Qassam fighters fired a salvo of Rajoum-type rockets toward occupation forces positioned there.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also bombarded occupation forces using short-range 107 mm rocket artillery shells, this time from the southernmost city of Rafah. Mortar shells were also fired toward occupation forces positioned in the same area in eastern Rafah.

Al-Qassam fighters also fired an al-Yassin shell at a Merkava tank in Tal al-Sultan in western Rafah.

The group also published footage of a sniper operation that killed a soldier in the Nahal Brigade’s 931st Infantry Battalion in Rafah, who was killed on Thursday.

Palestinian Resistance renews capabilities in gaza, falsifying Zionist claims

After claiming to have dismantled the Palestinian Resistance’s military apparatus in the northern Gaza Strip in early January 2024, the occupation’s military command, ordering a new invasion into al-Shujaiya proves the falsity of these claims.

The renewed attack into areas such as al-Shujaiya and Jabalia have proven even more difficult to execute for occupation forces, as the first time around armored and infantry forces were better equipped and garnered greater firepower from supporting units and the Air Force.

An incursion into Jabalia and its refugee camp on May 12 dragged on into early June, as the city saw some of the fiercest fighting since the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip was launched in late October 2023, with a similar scenario expected to ensue in al-Shujaiya.

The first two days of the confrontation in al-Shujaiaya have shown that the Resistance has planned a strong defensive structure, and boobytrapping routes into the neighborhood that have inflicted substantial damage on armored forces.

PFLP issues staetment on battle

Shuja’iyya Neighborhood Will Remain Unbreakable, and the Occupation Will Leave Defeated and Humiliated

The defeated occupation wages war on unarmed civilians and displaced people in their tents to compensate for its utter failure against the resistance. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms that the defeated zionist entity has intensified its war on unarmed civilians and displaced people in their tents and those safe in their homes in recent days, aiming to kill as many as possible and continue to exhaust and displace them as compensation for its utter failure against the resistance. The cowardly zionist enemy’s recent focus on areas crowded with displaced people in Al-Mawasi, west of Rafah, which it claimed to be safe, and the ruthless bombardment of the displaced people’s tents, along with the intensified shelling of civilians safe in their homes in Shuja’iyya neighborhood without prior warning after announcing a new military operation in the neighborhood, and the continued targeting of citizens’ homes over their inhabitants in various areas of the Strip, up to the deliberate targeting of Civil Defense teams, which resulted in the martyrdom of three of them while performing their humanitarian duty. All of these crimes are a stain on forehead of humanity and once again confirm that this criminal entity has no vision or goal in the Strip except for revenge, destruction, displacement, killing, and committing massacres and war crimes. These crimes continue while the criminal American administration continues to provide military and political support to the zionist entity, and amid the complicity of the international community, which stands as a mere spectator to these massacres, without any actual will to pressure for stopping the zionist war crimes. The new aggression on Shuja’iyya neighborhood will fail as it has failed in previous times, and the neighborhood, like the camps and neighborhoods of Rafah, Khan Younis, Gaza, the central and northern areas, will remain unbreakable. The occupation soldiers within will receive more blows and ambushes, and they will leave again defeated and humiliated as they have before.
