How low can the #Alberta government go to save money in the healthcare system??
So low that children in cancer care are no longer getting a popsicle, juice box, ginger ale or any other treat after their gruelling procedures.

Why hasn't the prime minister of #Alberta been impeached yet? Either that or guillotined?

Our wet weather has continued, rain turning to #snow yesterday morning. Luckily we didn't get anything close to the forecast possible totals (15-20cm by today)- we had a few inches handful of cm, we did a preliminary -slushy!- shovelling yesterday, but only another cm or less by this afternoon. Still more chances today/tomorrow.

step aside usa news, we've got a way more important crisis on our hands
edit: shit, it's true!

I mentioned a couple of days ago that we had a #weather forecast for #rain + #snow possibly quite a bit. It stayed rain longer than forecast, finally going white (for a short time) late his morning; stopped for now, but still a possibility of 10-20cm through tomorrow night. Yesterday afternoon when it was just wet / kinda dark I took a short walk on the acreage- I like the #forest best when it's wet! #mosstodon #GoOutsideForMe #GetOutside #Alberta #Canada #SolaceInNature #nature #BorealForest
Conservationists say land-use plan will decimate at-risk #caribou herds in northwestern #Alberta

I admire Danielle Smith for what she is, and bizarrely sort of respect her for it. She's a woman that's willing to kill perfect strangers for personal profit, and not just a person here or there, but like to commit wholesale murder for pennies on the dollar. And she's discovered that Albertans, the every day people of #Alberta are perfectly happy to go along with it, and be victims of her, because of their small souls or moral failure or whatever.
Livestock that self-slaughters.
Can you tell me which part of Canada does all, or any of this?
Because #Alberta sure DOESN'T and I'm speaking as someone who's lived in here for forty seven years.
Hey
"Feeling left out because your local riding is a Conservative stronghold?
Did you know you can donate at the local level to ANY riding across the country?"
Like Bruce Fanjoy in #Ottawa-Carleton who's working hard to unseat Mr. #Poilievre?
Or one of those #Alberta ridings that's inching into toss-up territory.
Wouldn’t that be satisfying?

Tomorrow, #Alberta Premier Danielle Smith & Ben Shapiro, editor-in-chief of Breitbart news are the keynote speakers at a $1,500 per ticket fundraiser for Prager University in Florida.
“I’m not saying Canadians should vote in American elections, God forbid. I mean, we can just annex and then call it an outlying territory or something like Puerto Rico.
Shapiro finished his comments with "Poilievre can’t win soon enough"
@ddmgmgh Look what's going on in #Alberta - #Poilievre's template for the entire country.
Former PM Stephen Harper - "A man diametrically opposed to the concept of defined pension benefit plans for public sector workers is now responsible for managing the investments of 375,000 Alberta pensioners."
To be clear, Poilievre's mentor built his political career campaigning against pensions.
Special Weather Statement for Alberta (none of this specifically mentions my area, but no doubt we'll get some part of it! I cut extra firewood today in anticipation of mucky weather. This mostly talks about stuff starting tomorrow night, but we currently have light rain which will probably turn to snow soon as it's barely above freezing.

Did Danielle Smith lobby the U.S. to help Pierre Poilievre? Sure looks like it. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/article-did-danielle-smith-lobby-the-us-to-help-pierre-poilievre-sure-looks/
