This Is My GlasgowGrand monuments in the Necropolis, Glasgow's first major Victorian cemetery. This Is My GlasgowLove this flower memorial which is being created in the Necropolis, Glasgow's main Victorian cemetery. It marks a common grave where 8,094 people were interred. This Is My GlasgowBetween the 13th and 15th of March 1941, the German airforce dropped over 250 tonnes of bombs on Clydeside, killing around 1,200 people (half in Clydebank and half in Glasgow). This gravestone in Eastwood New Cemetery is a reminder that to this day, not all the bodies of those who were killed were ever identified.
