Scott CampbellOn March 21, residents of San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, launched an encampment to blockade the functioning of a landfill that is poisoning the water in their community. JordiGHI recently learned that the great pyramid of <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Cholula" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Cholula</a>, which today sits underneath a Spanish church, was built over several phases over hundreds of years by many different Mesoamerican ethnic groups. Archaeological excavations kept finding pyramids upon pyramids in a matryoshka doll sort of way.
