Prompt what have you found

Story to this one. My dad lost a diamond from one of his gold rings. He was upset bc neither he nor my mom could find it after turning the apartment inside out. They gave it up for lost. a week or so later, my mom was combing my hair. I jumped up & pulled away bc I saw a twinkle in the dark blue carpet. I pulled the diamond out of the fibers. My parents were thrilled.

#DiamondOA initiatives are usually non-profit, run by and for academics.

These initiatives rely on external funding to remain operational, with funds mostly coming from university #libraries, academic institutions, #research funders or government grants.

We support various diamond open access infrastructures and initiatives.

It's international #OAweek again, with the same theme as last year: #Community over Commercialization.

Read the interview with our experts on diamond open access about how our #library supports community-driven #publishing:

“Diamond open access embodies the true and original spirit of the open access movement: to make the scholarly publishing industry more accessible, but also more affordable and #fair for everyone.”

We are delighted to have recently become a supporting member of the Open Book Collective (OBC)!

Thanks to support from members, the OBC is able to support a fairer and more bibliodiverse landscape for open access publishers.

CTVNews · Botswana uncovers a huge 2,492-carat diamond that could be one of the biggest everBotswana says one of the largest diamonds ever found has been unearthed at one of its mines and will be put on show on Thursday.

"There is an obvious alternative: universities, libraries, and academic funding agencies can cut out the intermediary and directly fund journals themselves, at a far lower cost. This would remove commercial pressures from the editorial process, preserve editorial integrity and make research accessible to all."
