Pescetarianism is sometimes lauded as an affordable, ethical, and climate friendly diet. In truth, however, it exonerates the what is arguably the most cruel and exploitative of all carnist industries, is the most expensive type of diet globally for all economic stages of development by country, and is ecologically and environmentally catastrophic.
Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that pescetarianism is ethical or that it is good for the planet. Don't let anyone pretend it's the "affordable" option, when the reality is that it's nothing more than a luxury carnist diet.
