I am off to meet Sue at work in a bit, and then I have a blood test appointment.

Following another bad night all the bedding is in the laundry again!
I am getting really fed up with this.

Later, I have a diorama to get on with and the bed to make.

I should have been up and about half an hour ago!

We're taking Mum shopping this morning, and then I have to go onto Manchester for the rest of the day for a staff meeting.

I could do the 'April fool' thing of Calling in my resignation but they would take me seriously, just as I would.
Still, I get lunch out of it, and I might learn something and have something to add.

Waiting brain it switched on and counting down. I have a phone call consult and assessment from the hospital for something and it is between 9 am and 1pm.

I am going to be in the miniatures workshop wiring up tiny LED 'fluorescent' tube lights into a diorama, and adding copper foil wiring to the back of the walls.

I can't think far enough forward past this phone call to work out what I am doing later.

My hands and wrists still hurt this morning.

Edit :The phone call happened at 8:45, just as I was writing this toot, and all my spoons are used up.

I am feeling a bit better this morning, still achy, but mainly hand a wrist joints, and I am moving a bit more slowly.

I am suspecting it might be the yeast in the gluten free bread that Sue made, maybe. It is the only thing I can think of. Having said that, there is also yeast in the GF pita bread I have been eating that hasn't been a noticeable issue.

Either way, it will be a recovery day for me while I figure this out.

I am going into work this morning to do some maintenance repairs.

Someone has backed a car into some railings and broken one of the bars loose and bent the railing a little bit. I will do a quick welding repair to it.

Not sure about looking at the eclipse, it is a bit too cloudy out there.

Later I want to do nothing and rest, I have my doubts, but I will try.

Then we'll have chilli con carne and rice for dinner with Mum.

I have already been into work, to check some contractor waste had been removed, as promised.
We also brought back 6 lengths of four by twos that were scrap.

We are off to the community workshop in a bit, via Lidl.

Later we might be back working in the garden.

Today I have already been to work, opening up for contractors.
I will join Sue at work in a while, but first, I need breakfast.
Then it is bin day!

Later I have a GP appointment and then I need to collect some trade shopping.

It's a bit wet outside!

We are taking Mum shopping this morning, and then heading into Manchester to do some maintenance work.

Some really weird bad dreams last night. Can't remember them now, so I guess that is a bonus.

I feel better this morning and ready to get some more work done. We'll probably be in the garden.

Also one of the Thursday woodwork chaps wants to borrow my plate compactor to reset his block paving!
What am I? The Salford Tool Library now?

I'd better open it up as it sounded a bit 'loose and rattley' on Saturday.

It is a Sunday. Will it be a day of rest? Will it heck!
It is a bit too wet to do stuff outside so maybe stuff will be done inside, or we might go out somewhere.

At least I did sleep last night, though I don't feel any less tired this morning.

It is a bit grey outside and we have yet to decide what we're doing.

I have tarmac to lay, and can do some prick pointing, or scrap metal sorting.

Or I can do something less practical, or be in the workshop working on projects.

Very undecided.

Later I will need to phone a drains company to arrange a job for work.

Afterwards we might get back to doing something useful around the house.
I wonder what that might entail?

We are taking Mum shopping this morning, and then I have a hospital appointment at lunchtime.

Last night I was dreaming that I was driving a mobility scooter along a street in a Welsh village. I stopped outside two adjacent shop fronts, both looking very run down, but still open. The one on the left was a barber's shop, but too filthy to want to enter, the one on the right was a grocery shop. The windows were covered in old product adverts and there were no lights inside. A lovely, friendly old woman was behind the counter and the only produce was Bassets jelly babies and Sherbet fountains. I selected the jelly babies, except they were labeled Bassets Jack and Jills and were little jelly figures of a boy and a girl carrying a bucket!
The woman said there was no need to stock anything else as that was all people came in for!

We are hoping that the scaffolders are coming this morning. The cars are off the drive, the shed is clear, the door removed and they should be here this morning.

I'm not putting bets on it.

Mum has an appointment just before lunch.

I am completely fed up, annoyed, and an mightily pissed off with the world right now, and just want to be somewhere calm where I can make stuff.
And my phone won't stop pinging with emails!

Another bad night of sweats, so very tired.

Eggs for breakfast, and then I have to prepare for a lunch time fire drill at the Meeting House.

Work needs to know what the Quakers do when the fire alarm goes off. I think they will need some awareness training and a couple of them assigned as fire marshals.

I also need to check the car's hand brake. I think it is dragging a bit and making groaning noises when I pull away.

Hopefully I won't be bringing back any more 'homework'.

Later this afternoon we have friends doing a flying visit to pick up some stuff from our basement.

Then we are having dinner with Mum this evening.

We have a Levenshulme Repair Cafe tomorrow, so the chair I repaired can go and live in the car over night.
