Attractive Nuisance<p>Is there a good way to serve an entire ripped <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/DVD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DVD</span></a> over a network, with their built in navigation etc.?</p><p>At the moment I'm ripping the main features with <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Handbrake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Handbrake</span></a> and serving them over DLNA to a <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/VLC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VLC</span></a> client. But that means missing out on the extras etc.</p>

Moritz Strohm<p>By removing direct dvdread support, mpv broke DVD ripping for me since it now jumps to the dvd menu after the title I want to rip, producing a garbage output file. I tried alternatives like dvdbackup and handbrake, but both are not usable. The latter crashed at some point.</p><p>Seems I do have to write my own code again just to be able to batch rip DVDs on the command line. Laserdisc Turtle (Ewan)<p>I'm having an odd issue with a video project lately. </p><p>I <a href="https://mas.to/tags/render" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>render</span></a> the <a href="https://mas.to/tags/video" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>video</span></a> to MXF from <a href="https://mas.to/tags/DavinciResolve" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DavinciResolve</span></a>, and the audio to WAV. I then render the MXF to MP4 (H264) using <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Handbrake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Handbrake</span></a> then combine the MP4 and WAV into and MKV using MKVToolNix. </p><p>Never had an issue doing this before but one person is struggling to watch the produced videos. They either don't load or error part way through.
