Hulu's adult animated series "Solar Opposites" will end with its upcoming sixth season which will debut in the Fall, date TBD.
Does anybody sell a dumb streaming box outside of Roku ? Like I want to be install Netflix as an app and watch it on my TV. But I otherwise dont want to login to google/amazon/apple ?
Failing that is their a #Floss solution here that would also be low maintenance and user friendly on my family.

Actually… Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ say that their “Ad Free” or “No Ads” service tiers have ads, per their fine print 
Well, consumers must choose how much of these shenanigans they will tolerate. #Hulu, #Disney, and other #streaming companies will not change their ways if they can get away with them.

TLDR: “you paid for no ads, but we are making you watch them anyway.”
New #disneyplus, #Hulu, and #espnplus #TOS allows for #advertisements even on ad-free paid plans! The fuck!? What's even the point then? Enshittification marches ever onward.

Hulu sent me an email about updating their subscriber agreement. Apparently they are going to start playing ads on certain titles even if you are paying for no ads. Streaming services are only getting worse.

Well, that was interesting. I walked in the room where an interview on TV was taking place about the Irish Troubles. I looked up the author #PatrickKeith and thought it was a book, and it is, so #bookstodon . Wrong about what the promo was for, though--it's a show on #Hulu now.

I’ve been binge watching “HPI Haut Potentiel Intellectuel” on Hulu. Keep accidentally wandering away and forgetting I don’t speak French (beyond the minimum). It feels like I should be able to speak French, but… non.
Milli has been keeping watch with her eyes closed.

Rewatched #PolarExpress tonight, streaming on #Hulu. Made 20 years ago, I had forgotten how lovely a holiday film it is. Read the book by Chris Van Allsburg to my then young son over and over, we both loved it. Recommend a viewing for anyone with a case of Bah Humbug.

@arstechnica So, hypothetically of course, streaming from my laptop to the TV is still the best deal if I were to use ad blocking apps to watch YT uninterrupted as some channels have way too many commercials.
I dropped #Hulu this year because they raised their prices again without providing any extra value. My kid already has Disney+, making it an unnecessary, unwanted feature that [likely] drove up the cost and lost them a customer. Same for YT; with no extra value there is now definitely no way I will subscribe.

I think #Crunchyroll secured first dibs on the English dub of #DragonBallDaima and other platforms ( #Netflix, #Hulu, #Toonami if they get it at all ) will air/stream it afterwards.
