I am feeling better, which means that I have resumed my performance at the Indy Art Center. Every day* (weekend, weekday, rain, shine) I come and add to an ongoing embroidery, where I add a new number for each new day since the full-scale invasion.
My goal is to show people that war isn't just a news bit that I can skip or take a break from. I encourage people to participate in non-trivial, interpersonal memorial practices. We HAVE to remember.

While I embroider a new number for each new day of the full-scale invasion, I engage in a minute of silence, and I encourage the visitors to do the same. Come and contemplate with me the inescapability of the war. Honor someone you lost through violence.

UPDATE: This incident involved a BICYCLIST who stated they were ran off the road by a car. They were injured and transported to Eskenazi by medics.

I was able to scan a 156 page magazine in about 20m. Not entirely successfully tho. I need to play with settings more. I would prefer it did NOT try to auto-select and crop, rather give me raw full scans. I think it can do this, but need to read more. It has 3 save formats: JPG, TIF, PDF
The JPG output worked, but it crops. Maybe TIF does not? The PDF output crashed.

Family, bicyclists remember man who was hit and killed at Indianapolis intersection
Dillan Rogers was hit and killed by a driver at the intersection of East Raymond and Shelby streets. There's a memorial and a ghost bike there now.
"Dillan told me when you see those white bikes it means someone was killed here or someone had an accident there...I never imagined he would have to have one."
UPDATE: Do not currently have any additional information on this incident but the location puts it at a Middle School across the street from Lawrence Central High School.

Spoke with WRTV’s Adam Schumes this afternoon about the hit-and-run this morning that killed a woman who was in town for work.
Far too many pedestrians and bicyclists in Indianapolis are being struck and killed by cowardly drivers who leave the scene.
