This release, combined with the enthusiastic rally and support for Shapiro from Harris and Walz confirms for me that this was not a win for the bigots. And they should be regularly called out when they try to claim some kind of victory here.All they did was try to taint Walz's nomination with their antisemitism. But I work overnights (9pm-5am), the Shavuot session goes 8pm-4:30am, and I didn't request time off because I wasn't expecting this to be an option.I took a week off on last-minute notice about a month ago because of the screwed up procedure, so I am reluctant to ask my boss if I can take literally my next shift off. Most things can be put off a day, but one thing from 2-3 needs to be done. I know somebody else could probably cover it, but it would be really inconvenient to them on such short notice and I don't want to spring another sudden day off on my boss (even for an, admittedly, good reason).When my wife gets up, I'm gonna ask her for her thoughts.
