HSS has lost >20,500 scientists, regulators, technicians, doctors and support staff under Trump so far, or 18% of its total staff. And this is an undercount.

Even departments tasked with fighting chronic disease, which is one of RFKJR'S core priorities, have lost 20% of their staff, undermining any hope that they'd succeed.

RFKs other big priority, vaccine safety, is also a sham in light of the scores of vaccine regulators (26% of them) that he's fired.

Food safety? Drug safety?
Not with >20% of the FDA staff being cut.

And if you loved the covid pandemic (which, incidentally, is currently surging again), you'll love the next one because there won't be much in the way of surveillance, drug and vaccine research, or regulation to identify and reduce risks, or treat people when the next one hits. The CDC has lost >3,000 scientists, including many who study zoonotic disease transmission.
