Don Trueten :antifa:Die Farbe Braun: Entkolonialisierender Anarchismus und die Herausforderung der weißen Hegemonie Das Auftauchen des ägyptischen Schwarzen Blocks in <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Kairos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Kairos</a> Straßen im Januar 2013 löste in westlichen anarchistischen Kreisen leichtgläubige Begeisterung aus. Über die politische Vision des ägyptischen Schwarzen Blocks - oder das Fehlen einer solchen -, seine Taktiken oder seine sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Positionen wurde wenig nachgedacht. Für die meisten westlichen <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Anarchisten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Anarchisten</a> reichte es aus, dass sie aussahen und sich kleideten wie Anarchisten, um unkritische Bewunderung zu rechtfertigen. Die <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Facebook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Facebook</a>-Seiten israelischer Anarchisten wurden mit Bildern ägyptischer Black-Bloc-Aktivisten überschwemmt; wer in dieser Zeit die anarchistische Blogosphäre in den <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/USA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#USA</a> überflog, konnte den Eindruck gewinnen, der <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/BlackBloc" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BlackBloc</a> sei Ägyptens erste Begegnung mit Anarchismus und# Antiautoritarismus überhaupt. Doch wie der amerikanische Schriftsteller Joshua Stephens anmerkt, wirft die jubelnde Reaktion vieler westlicher Anarchisten auf den Black Bloc wenig schmeichelhafte Fragen auf, was ihre Besessenheit von Form und Darstellung statt von Inhalt und Aktionen betrifft. Und in dieser Hinsicht unterscheiden sich diese Anarchisten nicht von den Islamisten, die den Schwarzen Block schnell als blasphemisch und ungläubig anprangerten, nur weil sie wie Westler aussahen. Darüber hinaus entlarven viele Reaktionen westlicher Anarchisten auf den Schwarzen Block eine tief verwurzelte orientalistische Tendenz. Ihre Missachtung <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/%C3%84gyptens" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ägyptens</a> und der reichen Geschichte des Anarchismus im Nahen Osten ist ein Ausdruck davon. Wie der ägyptische Anarchist Yasser Abdullah veranschaulicht, reicht der Anarchismus in <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/%C3%84gypten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ägypten</a> bis in die 1870er Jahre zurück, als Reaktion auf die Einweihung des <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Suezkanal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Suezkanal</a>s; italienische Anarchisten in <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Alexandria" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Alexandria</a> nahmen an der Ersten Internationale teil, veröffentlichten 1877 eine anarchistische Zeitschrift und beteiligten sich an der <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Urabi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Urabi</a>-Revolution von 1881; griechische und italienische Anarchisten organisierten auch Streiks und Proteste mit ägyptischen Arbeitern.
