Hi, I'm Allie! I'm a queer transfeminine nonbinary person in the PDX area. I live with my nesting partner, our kiddo, and two cats.
I'm into #retrocomputing/ #permacomputing, reading, teaching, amateur radio, gardening, cooking, baking, making electronic music, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
The Interim Computer Festival is this Saturday and Sunday at 3100 Airport Way S in Seattle from 10am-6pm. Come see the many PDP-8 systems and other vintage computers. https://sdf.org/icf #vintagecomputing #retrocomputing #community
Working in an Acorn RISC PC600 which Had battery damage.
Looking lime this without VRAM module ... so the error must be around the onboard VRAM or it's logic.
Any hints?

Since I’m currently fiddling with SuSE 6.4 which I have running in a VM (and soon on hardware again, I hope), here are some screenshots from #GIMP 1.1 on SuSE Linux 6.4. Around 25 years old.
How many PDP-8 systems will be at Interim Computer Festival? So far we believe 5 to celebrate 60 years of the coolest minicomputer you never heard of.

Yay! The replay of today's stream is on the tube.
Patching someone in via Discord worked great, we even shared screens without my internet connection dying.
Few tweaks for next week's stream and I'm probably going to invite anyone to call in and chat during the stream.
