Lynnesbæn :bune_ylw:<p>i'm playing <a href="https://fedi.lynnesbian.space/tags/rimworld" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rimworld</span></a> with over two hundred active mods, which means sometimes they interact with each other in weird ways. here's a particularly fun (as in type 3 fun) interaction between the "hospitality" and "roo's faun xenotype" mods:</p><p>hospitality brings visitors from various factions and xenotypes (fantasy races). sometimes, i get visitors with the faun xenotype. they have a gene that makes them fear the biotech expansion pack's mechanoids, which causes them to collapse like fainting goats. very quaint, very twee.</p><p>my colonists, sweeties that they are, automatically rescue these unconscious fauns, because they surely need immediate medical attention. they take them to the hospital, which is free of mechanoids, so they regain consciousness.</p><p>sometimes, they fauns are so thankful for being "rescued" and receiving "medical care" that they decide to join my colony.</p><p>i have had three colonists join me through this series of events. i have wanted zero of them. i do not need a reclusive misandrist goat person who is incapable of gardening due to his tragic backstory. even if i did want them, they all have an awful ideoligion that's basically male nudist vegan anarchoprimitivism, and they get upset if i mine anything.</p>
