stolenprivacy<p>Die netflix Miniserie <a href="https://darmstadt.social/tags/Ripley" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ripley</span></a> ist grandios gut. </p><p>Kenne alle früheren Verfilmungen, hab die Romane gelesen, und hatte diesmal ab der dritten Folge Angst vor Tom bis tief in die Nacht hinein. </p><p>Alles in s/w mit wahnsinnig guter Kamera in Rom, Palermo und Venedig mit einer tiefen Verbeugung vor den Bildern von Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. 👍👍👍</p>

Nah, I'll go for something else - on my smartphone". It really saddens me. It's not even about some substantial criticism about the show, it's just that people don't care (total views are very low).</p>

Mother Suspiria :autism:<p>We're on episode 6 of <a href="https://social.horrorhub.club/tags/RIPLEY" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RIPLEY</span></a> on <a href="https://social.horrorhub.club/tags/Netflix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Netflix</span></a> and it's beautifully shot and well-acted but geez is he dumb AND lucky. The Forrest Gump of murderers, but with more ego.</p>
Laserdisc Turtle (Ewan)<p>I don't often watch current TV series but over the last week or so me and my wife have thoroughly enjoyed <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Ripley" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ripley</span></a> on <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Netflix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Netflix</span></a>. </p><p>It was like watching an Alfred Hitchcock film shot through the lens of Andrei Tarkovsky! </p><p>Once the story gets into full swing Steven Zaillian never lets the tension drop, Robert Elswit's cinematography is drop dead gorgeous throughout and the cast are perfect. </p><p>From a cinematography point of view I'd say Ripley is the best shot piece of media I've seen in decades!</p>
Mark<p>Haven’t seen much buzz for the new adaptation of Talented Mr Ripley (in this case, just called Ripley) on the netflick. Jacob Ø+<p>Jeps, så fik vi set det sidste afsnit af ‘Ripley’. Jeg har aldrig været den store fan af TV-serier, men Steven Zaillians filmatisering af Patricia Highsmiths roman fra 1955 om Tom Ripley er simpelthen genial. Der er 8 afsnit i alt. Fremragende fotograferet i sort/hvid. Sublimt skuespil. Fermt plot. Cool film-noir stemning hele vejen. Det er første gang, jeg ville orke at se en hel serie igen i en biograf bare for at opleve de skønne billeder fra Italien på et stort lærred. 6 stjerner! <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ripley" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ripley</span></a></p>
Jacob Ø+<p>Vi er nået til afsnit 7 ud af 8 af ‘Ripley’ - og det bliver bare mere og mere intenst og nervepirrende. Det er simpelthen forrygende og så er den så smukt fotograferet. Nok det vildeste brug af et kamera på en TV-produktion, jeg nogensinde har set. Det var i øvrigt først i dag, jeg fandt ud af, at instruktøren Steven Zaillian er 71 år. Todd Unctious<p>I finished Ripley last night on Netflix, what a great show, very different from the Matt Damon film (also fabulous), especially in tone. Beautifully shot in black and white with fantastic music. And fantastic acting from Andrew Scott and all the other leads. Mother Suspiria :autism:<p>We started to watch <a href="https://social.horrorhub.club/tags/Ripley" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ripley</span></a> on <a href="https://social.horrorhub.club/tags/Netflix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Netflix</span></a> and I'm totally new to the story because I never read Patricia Highsmith (except for THE PRICE OF SALT) or saw The Talented Mr. Ripley (SO NO SPOILERS) but so far, it's quite good!</p>
