Gorgeous chilly day for a run. Enjoying these last gasps of late winter.
Race report: Wayout Backyard Ultra
Wrapped up some notes regarding the weekend adventure I just had. It’s written in my usual crazy style

Another short run after the conference - in the sun and 13C. Can’t be better. The weather in England is delivering. Kilometer 3-4 was to explore the best routing to turn south to go to Greenwich through the foot tunnel on one of the next days.
Not #trailrunning but #running.
a 3-hour bike ride was planned for today. Lack of time and strong wind made me not really feel like it. So a 2-hour trail run as a replacement.
A great run despite the same distance last Saturday.

Spring pink — plumage from northern magnolia and flowering cherry trees.
While #running along the Royal Albert Quay one has a nice view on the activity of London City Airport. Landed earlier in the day there and literally walked only 10 minutes to the hotel and Excel conference center.
Greetings to #Switzerland.
Exploring the neighborhood. Not #trailrunning but flat #running - 10km in the east of London.
Nice weather. Sunny quite warm. No rain.
Planning for a run to the Prime Meridian in Greenwich one of the next days during #kubecon
Rolled over 11,000 miles #running and walking this morning. I started in 2012 with Couch-to-5k
The area around #Leudelange where I run is characterized by forests, bushes, and cultivated landscapes. Only extensive agriculture. #Luxembourg is doing a lot of things right here. Especially now in spring, you see birds of prey on almost every run. Today, a #redKite flew close over me. Majestic! Then there was a #buzzard, which was chased away by a #crow. Pretty brave, considering it was a bit smaller.

I got upgraded from urgent care to the ER last night and walked away with 7 stitches and a splint. Fell asleep early, and my watch just told me my poor sleep is slowing my recovery. Thank you, Garmin, but I picked up on that myself. #running
Garmin’s AI seems to be as hilarious AND bad as the Strava AI.
But I guess a product manager met his “goal”, will get a promotion and pay raise, move on and leave this behind him. #mondaymorningthoughts

Day 30 of #MovementMonth
Sunny Sunday for a bit of Trailrunning. Today from Sierre up to Crans Montana and back. This time without the funicular
Fifth half-marathon in five weeks - this one in the audio company of @coachbennett and Jason Isbell.
#Cph42 in T minus 41 days.
31km-run done. The last couple kilometers were pretty hard. Especially because it began to rain after 12km or so and my hands were so cold at one point that I had problems moving my fingers. Next week 34km. #running
Wayout Backyard Ultra | 20 hours | 134K
Most of you already know by now; I had a wonderful (trail) backyard race. It started Friday at 20:00 where it was dark. Then we ran through the night and morning. And a bit more. I stopped after 20 hours with good legs and good mood. TBH: I was just very tired and mentally I didn’t have the attitude to keep on. Family time called (and food/sleep).

On yesterday’s run I passed the newly rebuilt shelter on top of Getryggen (back of the goat). It was vandalized and burned down last summer. You have a nice view of Göteborg on the horizon (about 10km away).
