Edinburgh Man<p>Email from <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Scotrail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Scotrail</span></a> saying I can no longer use mTickets in their app between my usual stations. This restriction only applies to a small subset of stations. I assume it's some sort of fare dodge workaround.</p><p>Instead I can buy my tickets online... Oh, but I can't collect those at my station, I need to go to another station to do that.🤔</p><p>But I can use the intrusive always on GPS app to pay for my journey. Ah, but my railcard discount requires advance purchases.🤔</p><p>Well done Scotrail 👏 👏 👏</p>

Mrs Cloudy<p>Every social media post from Scotrail results in 100s of comments from people who never used trains, don't use trains, and won't ever use trains. Lots of comments about their one bad experience, like no one ever had a shit journey in a car. Meanwhile, the experience of folk who do use them seems to be pretty positive. It forces you to pick a train out. Fortunately, you can still take any train, but it’s silly!</p>
