Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UK<p>There have been *that* many <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/crashes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>crashes</span></a> in <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Essex" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Essex</span></a> in last few weeks alone my own relatives (who live in SE England) were worried about my safety <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/driving" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>driving</span></a> back through the area after the lunar new year celebration (even though most of the <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/collisions" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>collisions</span></a> are in towns/cities rather than on the <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/A12" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>A12</span></a> highway (although there have been incidents there too). I've seen comments elsewhere (including from <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/EmergencyServices" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EmergencyServices</span></a> workers) that bad/reckless driving can be a warning sign of <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/SocialBreakdown" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SocialBreakdown</span></a></p>
Pete<p>For over 50 years now, I have mostly voted right of centre. Given the issues we have across the globe such as <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/climatechange" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>climatechange</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/inequity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>inequity</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/socialbreakdown" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>socialbreakdown</span></a> and others, which arise from overexploitation of natural resources and ecosystems, could someone who supports <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/capitalism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>capitalism</span></a> please explain to me how a system that relies on perpetual growth can be sustainable and just? The world has finite resources to sustain life and limited capacity to absorb harm. The more I think about it, the lefter I lean.</p>
