Still playing with the colors and doing monochromatic studies. This one separates really nicely when painting.
I also did some mixes too, to see how it reacts.

But honestly most fun was to paint this fun "hair" on the bird, which I painted without using white or masking fluid.
And I'm super happy how it turned out. Everything else comes just second.

Just like digital art is not easier than traditional art (I find it the other way round for instance). Would you say writing a book on word and not by hand is cheating? Bfr. If technical, frame by frame, apparent complexity was the only goal of art, we would have stopped long ago... Being realistic stopped being the goal long ago, if it were ever the sole goal (spoiler alert: no)

So today I finally went ahead and printed the damn thing. Cut it up a bit, and stapled it myself :P Turns out that printed has a completely different feeling! #Antumbra chapter 0 has finally been officially released as it is intended! Enjoy and listen as the pages turn! <3

Hi there! An #introduction post incoming!

I am Lana, a freelance artist. While I am known for my Art Nouveau-inspired artworks, I prefer to showcase a different side of me here.

In March I started drawing a comic. It was my lifelong dream that I always put on the shelf because I believed I was not good enough. But the friend's support and TTRPG sessions inspired me, so here I am!

I hope to find new friends and build a tiny new community here. Nice to meet you all!
