Kelp and Fern
This is Paul Youd, an 87 year old vegan ultra-runner that I had the honour of documenting his latest ultra-marathon adventure, 50km around the city of Bath!

You read that right, 87 years old, VEGAN and smashing ultras!

He was supported by @runningonplants and their team and everyone made it to the finish line, inspired by Paul and his story! Make sure to check out their wonderful organisation.

A film will be in the works of this adventure to watch at www.youtube.com/@kelpandfern in the coming weeks and you'll learn more about Paul and why he went vegan and how he got in to running later on in life.

What a beautifull Saturday during the Vuurtoren Trail. Cold but sunny which made great views.

Run went well except for the last 5km when I had an encountered the man with the hammer 😆.
I blame it completely to myself because I have been sloppy with my nutrition (read: no nutrition whatshoever 😬 ).
Good wake-up call for the next race!

Gooood morning pplz!

What keeps me occupied today (besides my work 😉) ?

1. My mail/data migration away from Google. I just moved to Proton but I am still investigating other options. Also replaced Android by e/OS on my second backup mobile.

2. Running ofcourse! Scheduled for today is a progression run. This weekend there will be another long one (3hr).

Up until now I have been reluctant to do back-2-back runs. Always 1 recovery day between runs.

But after a few years of continues running and strength training I am now ready to try to run 2 days in a row again.

I hope that my body has become strong enough in the meantime to keep injuries at bay

So from today 4 runs per week of which 2 on consecutive days.
