I grew up on an island on the west coast of <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/Norway" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Norway</span></a>, and currently live in the city of <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/Bergen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bergen</span></a>.</p><p>Trained as a <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/ClinicalPsychologist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ClinicalPsychologist</span></a> and with a PhD in <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/Neuroscience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Neuroscience</span></a>, I currently work as a professor of general <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/psychology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>psychology</span></a> at the <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/UniversityOfBergen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UniversityOfBergen</span></a>. I trained as a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/clinicalpsychologist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>clinicalpsychologist</span></a> (since lapsed) and took a doctorate in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/neuroscience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>neuroscience</span></a> (also lapsed).</p><p>I'm a professor in general <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/psychology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>psychology</span></a> at the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/UniversityOfBergen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UniversityOfBergen</span></a>. I have quite wide research interests within <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cognitivepsycholgy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cognitivepsycholgy</span></a>, centered around applied <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/decisionmaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>decisionmaking</span></a>. </p><p>I teach <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/theory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>theory</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/humanfactors" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>humanfactors</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/openscience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>openscience</span></a>.
