The thick leaf covering has insulated it well in our mild winter. </p><p>I’ll sieve the contents first. The castings added to some home made compost, perlite and some coconut coir or leaf mould made good soil blocks last year.</p><p>I’ll use some castings in an extract for inoculating seeds with.
