Blake Patterson<p>Reading through the September 1985 issue of "A+" magazine, I came across a rather lovely (to my eye) painting of a person using their Apple //c (presumably using a spreadsheet program, that being the accompanying article...). </p><p>I can't quite make out the signature of the artist. It's a nice work reminiscent of some of the early Atari VCS box art an A8 manual covers. </p><p>The magazine, and other scans, can be found at Apple2Online: <a href="https://apple2online.com/?page_id=4786" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">apple2online.com/?page_id=4786</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p>UPDATE: Looks like the artist is John Robinette. <br>(Thanks <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://social.coop/@cstanhope" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>cstanhope</span></a></span><br>!) </p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/A" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>A</span></a>+ <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/magazine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>magazine</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Apple" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Apple</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/AppleII" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AppleII</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/ZiffDavis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ZiffDavis</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/vintagecomputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vintagecomputing</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/retrocomputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>retrocomputing</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/art" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>art</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/paintings" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>paintings</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/artwork" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>artwork</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Apple" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Apple</span></a>//c <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/computers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>computers</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/retrocomputers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>retrocomputers</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/photo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>photo</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/scan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>scan</span></a></p>
