@lilithsaintcrow It’s almost like they’re actively seeking to alienate customers, except the company’s leadership seem to be true believers in the cult dogma: “you will give your work to our #AI and take what it gives you back, and you will like it.” I already have clients paying me to strip Copilot from their PCs. Thanks for the extra work, I guess (?), #Microsoft.
I have a feeling this will turn out much like Adobe driving professionally creative clients to switch to #Affinity. (By the way, I’d love to be able to recommend a functional Affinity equivalent for non-Apple OSs with a similarly well designed UI & UX — so, not GIMP and Inkscape, unless each gets a overhaul.) With the way things are going, I’m sure I’ll be getting requests for MS Office replacements within a couple/few weeks.
For their patients’ or clients’ sake, I’m hoping the healthcare and legal offices contact me sooner. I suspect it’s only a matter of time before Copilot spits out someone else’s confidential information in response to someone else’s service provider typing a paragraph with a similar initial boilerplate beginning.
