It happened on 5 May 2789 BC, just the period to which the disc is dated, making it a wonderfully vivid record of what its maker, the builders of the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/barrow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>barrow</span></a>, and communities they lived in actually experienced in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Neolithic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Neolithic</span></a> northern Denmark nearly 6,000 years ago.
