The US Conference of Catholic Bishops is the largest private resettlment program in the US and one of 10 national agencies that serve refugees. The conference says the halt in foreign aid has resulted in the Trump administration witholding millions of dollars, including for reimbursements of costs incurred before the ban went into effect.
