"Baby Blue" is a song by Welsh #rock band #Badfinger from their fourth studio album, #StraightUp (1971). The song was written by #PeteHam, produced by #ToddRundgren, and released on #AppleRecords. As a single in the US in 1972, it went to #14. In 2013, the song was prominently featured in the closing moments of #theFinalEpisode of the American crime drama series #BreakingBad, and subsequently charted in the UK for the first time at No. 73.

@artemis Or, as someone once pointed out to me, the entire premise of #BreakingBad just doesn’t work at all in, eg, Australia. I do think it says something though that, at least as far as I know, that’s the ONLY show that ever honestly addressed the core issue.

Finished Netflix The Gentlemen. It's literally Breaking Bad meets Downton Abbey. I'm not sure why they didn't have a cameo of Bryan Cranston portraying a footman. Giancarlo Esposito is typically good but one day I hope he breaks out from roles as the erudite villain. Anyway, it's stylish and amusing with the middle portion of the story arc being a series of capers that go sideways. However, the goodly duke's transition to murdering drug lord is somewhat under explained. Worse, the people he ends up bumping off he goes out of his way to mislead, enjoin as allies, and then sells them out and has them killed. I'd probably watch another season but it needs to go some place.
