US Citizen Juan Carlos Gomez-Lopez, arrested for crossing from Georgia to Florida while being brown, is being held in detention even though he showed his birth certificate and social security card. Judge says: Yeah, you've done nothing wrong, but ICE said not to release you, so we're sending you to detention camp. That'll teach you to be brown.
Scuttlebutt has it that the ACLU is descending like avenging angels, so hopefully they can get him out of Kafka's The Trial.

On the outside, I am making it to meetings, I am writing code and processing security reviews and making recommendations. I am getting groceries and getting the kid to skating lessons.
On the inside I am screaming, I am plotting and scheming. I am building better privacy and making plans to help protect my family. Then I am screaming some more.
Fundamentally law and order has not kept up with technology, allowing for parts of this to fall in place. The rest of this has been cruelty as distraction/deterrent/the point.
Even saying this makes me feel like I could be a target.
