F-F-Freezing out. My fingers throb from the cold, and I had light gloves on, the toss up between thicker gloves, and needed dexterity.
I had to soak my hands to get feeling in them again.

Just arrived at the boat after a very long journey. Did a quick check with the GoPro at the end of the boat hook and, yup, barnacles on the prop shaft and propellor again, as well as some mussels on the rudder.
It was a cold few dives this late in the season to scrape those off, but things are serviceable again for the time being. #brr.

Contemplating training in Riga at the end of October. I have the same apprehension about it as I did when I did training in Winnipeg at the end of October a few years ago. I lucked out then, but the potential for major #Brr is ominous.

I'm writing a character and I needed them to be reading a German language book. So I researched/randomly chose a book from the 1840s. Then, idly looking through that book, I discovered that what happens to the character in the 1840 book is exactly what happens to my character.
