One of the first albums I ever purchased: fabulous!

This was the theme for the 1973 Canadian cinema classic "Paperback Hero."

#dogladysden #photographer A windy winter's day at the lake. These rock sculptures are a common sight along the shore. Inukshuks are made of stacked stones that stay up because they are balanced on each other. Every stone supports the one above and below it. Like snowflakes, they're all different. 🌊🪨🌊🪨🌊🪨🌊 #LakeOntario #Inukshuk #rocksculpture #windyday #bythelake #bythelakeside #Canadiana #CanadianTraditions #InuitArt #InuitSculpture #naturephotographyinstagram.com/p/CpgDRn2JdcU/?u #DogladysDen

I've posted about my knitting and my dog and my tea (or lack thereof), but not much else. Here is possibly the most Canadian embroidery ever: a line from the Stan Rogers song Northwest Passage, and a map of the Canadian arctic tracing the route (and eventual shipwrecks) of the Franklin expedition. This is a piece I made for my mother, who is both a Stan Rogers fan and a Franklinerd.
