Mal ne Frage an den Schwarm,

Ich hab hier einen Haufen Klamotten, die ich nicht mehr benötige und würde die gerne einer Organisation oder ähnlichem zukommen lassen. Kennt da jemand was in Ulm und Umgebung?

A local food charity was asking about what kind of platforms might be available instead of Instaram?

I don't have good answers; except that as we have seen in the research that you must stay on instagram but create an alternative home which has all of the functionality you need and then point people from the place you dislike, towards the spaces you like

Within reason, of course.

Has anyone here has cause to develop food pantry communication systems?

Kitchener brewery releases special brew in honour of World Down Syndrome Day
A Kitchener brewery has released a new brew for World Down Syndrome Day on Friday. The new brew was created in part by an employee of the brewery who has Down syndrome. A portion of the beer's sales will go to the Waterloo Wellington Down Syndrome Society.

Our Foundation was founded to protect knowledge sharing across social media.

We aim to defend and grow peer to peer learning, first-hand accounts, and credible voices across open social networks.

That's why we care so much about the open social web. It's an open social network which puts community first, letting you learn from the people around you in the digital space.

We're proud to be here.

Sharing this clever little game from *2008*.

It was the 1st place winner from our very first game design challenge.

We posed this intriguing challenge:
❓ Can you create a game about teen dating violence without using any violence in the game itself?

We really did not know what to expect and were thrilled with the response. Our unique approach to violence prevention received media coverage -- even a mention in #Newsweek!

However, the game was created using #Flash and so it has not been available to play for years.

🎉 It has now been resurrected and we invite you to play it in your browser now - - right now.

It is a very short & quite quirky game (ideal for classroom play).

Plus, it's a helpful way to identify some warning signs of an abusive relationship.

The intention was to increase awareness about teen dating violence and provide guidance on how to seek help if it was needed. We think it works and we hope you agree.

Charities in the UK

It is about time that the UK sorted out the mess that are Charities. A local group raisign money for their school is a charity, a right wing extremist organisation based in Tufton St (which one is not I hear you ask) is 'a charity'. And as an example of abuse, the JNF is subsidised to provide support for the Israeli military.

It is feckin stupid - but no doubt it suits our Lords, Ladies and Masters.

Canary · Yet another UK charity has been caught funding Israel's militaryIn total, JNF UK transmitted £3,333,000 to ‘beneficiary organisations’ in Israel - but many of these had direct links to the military

Do I know anyone who works in the charity sector? Does anyone know of volunteer remote work going at any charities?
Writing / responding to emails and data processing would be ideal.
No phones. Not good at "befriending" or fundraising.

Experience in education, music, computer literate, decent typing speed, reliable, based in the UK.
Not expecting payment, just want to feel useful.

A 30-something #girlboss type distracted a worker and robbed a #charity #shop in #Swindon Western #England of £95 (to know what a "Z" (zero) reading is and how to trigger one requires knowledge of retail and having worked in a small business (which doesn't use EPOS)

on older tills it wipes out the records of the days takings, covering the tracks of how much was nicked) - it usually prints the takings but only if till roll is present an many small businesses don't always install it #crime
