"When You Had Power is the first of four tightly-connected novels in a solarpunk series. It’s about our future, how society will shift and flex like a solar lily in the storms of our own making, and how breaks in the social fabric have to be expected, tended to, and healed. Because we’re in this together, now more than ever before."

I have a new #solarpunk short story in the brand new magazine TRACTOR BEAM, and it's accompanied by some absolutely incredible artwork by Nina Muro!

"What Really Happened in Nightshade" is the story of a man who goes to visit a friend and ends up tangled in the political tensions between two very different styles of farms.

Say hi to Finn-Tuan Le, the main character of the comic I'm currently working on!

With a very near-future setting and the first volume basically being a roadtrip between #Nürnberg and #Ansbach, this illustration doesn't really give away it's genre. But drastic environmental changes (and a touch of fantasy because rule of cool) lead to a slow but thorough breakdown of globalization and now people have to rebuild a more resilient society.

From my hopeful climate fiction series, Nothing is Promised, the 4th book, published Mar 2023, and I SWEAR... this was not a supposed Trump character. This was evidence that anyone talking of invading Canada was *obviously* a lunatic.

And here we are. Lunatics in charge.

The question now is "how do we stop them?"

(btw first book is free in the series: susankayequinn.com/series/noth )
