I det siste har jeg brukt endel tid på å teste produkter som gjør det enklere å hoste tjenester hjemme. Såkalt "self hoste". #Cloudron virker til å være særdeles modent og solid. Gjenstår og teste backup og restore.

Men enkel og sikker hosting av #Mastodon, #Pixelfed, #Matrix, #Nextcloud, Actual Budget, #Immich og mye mer har jeg ikke sett maken til.

Back online I must say… #cloudron is amazing! even if you break it there are always ways to restore it.

OK, so I am pleasantly shocked at how easy it was to self-host my own #PeerTube instance on my existing domain!

HUGE thanks to @lps who suggested creating a #Cloudron installation (which I did on Linode), and then using Cloudron to install PeerTube from the app marketplace.

No command line. No confusion. No tricky DNS setup.
