When I was in high school, I played a lot of Dungeons and Dragons. Think back to 2nd Edition when the rules were unnecessarily complicated with THAC0. Anyway, I played a lot with one of my best friends. A man who would go on to be one of my best men at my wedding.

While in high school, his house caught fire and was just destroyed. I went with him the next day and walked through his house. Sitting on his charred, damaged computer was his set of dice he used for our D&D sessions. Most were so charred they were unreadable. Not the d10. It had like a singe coating that almost looked like a toasted marshmallow.

He was going to throw it out, but I asked if he minded if I kept it. He did not.

I've had it since.

That was 26+ years ago. Just used it last weekend while playing D&D.

#Mastofriends i'm afraid it might come down to this.

I have been reaching out for help with my #condition since early October. I've gotten 0 help. Zero, tangible, real help of any sort (physical, monetary, medical, food, etc.), that is.

I haven't had my medications in weeks. "Life sustaining" medications because I can't seem to work out the details.

Anyway. Probably #die here, #alone in my apartment soon. Just sayin'. Makes me angry because I'd like to see these fkkrs burn before I go:

Auftraggeber*innen, die von der 4-Tage-Woche schwärmen, alle geplanten Puffer mit ihrer Eigenachtsamkeit für sich beanspruchen und mich dann anranzen, dass ich, um die Deadline zu halten, ruhig auch mal 7 Tage am Stück arbeiten kann ("Schließlich bezahle ich Sie dafür!"), aber sauer sind, wenn WE-Arbeit mehr kostet.
Diese Leute, die offensichtlich vergessen haben, dass auch ich Bücher schreibe und mich über Beiträge zu meinem Figurenfundus freue.
