What is great about this tactic is that it is something that you can do if you are a blue dot in a red state.
Also, if you manage your parent's finances, you can call the office on their behalf. Not everyone has Lutnick's money to support their 94 year old mother in law if she misses a Social Security Check.

The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan federal court under Freedom of Information Act, concerns multiple FOIA requests for DOGE records. At first DOGE simply ignored these requests while #ElonMusk’s crew ransacked federal agencies and accessed sensitive data systems.

Well, Musk's own lawyers tanked that defense. In a Delaware filing, they wrote this:
“Musk... is a high-ranking government official… The White House has designated Musk a “special government employee”
in charge of Establishing and Implementing the President's Department of Government Efficiency
(“DOGE”).”
