Joaquim Homrighausen<p>Is there any OSS or FOSS e-mail client, for Linux or Windows that has native ActiveSync support (not EWS)? 🤔 🐧 </p><p>I can't seem to find any, and considering it's been around "for a while", I would have thought there would be some (yes, I'm aware of all the fabulous *DAV variants, thanks).</p><p>(I mean, there are plenty of e-mail servers that run on Linux, for example, that has server-side support for it.)</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/activesync" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>activesync</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/email" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>email</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/foss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>foss</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/oss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>oss</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/emailclient" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>emailclient</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/sysadmin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sysadmin</span></a></p>

Mehrad :kde: :emacs: :rstats:<p>I'm really enjoying <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/FairEmail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FairEmail</span></a> app on my phone. It have been the smoothest SMTP/IMAP experience I've had on any operating system. Even Thunderbird is not as smooth and as customizable. I've been actively using it for some months now, and frankly, I'm impressed. The UI design takes few hours to get used to, but after that and with some personalization, it would look as trivial as an email client can get.</p><p>It is <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/OpenSource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenSource</span></a> (GPLv3) btw:</p><p><a href="https://email.faircode.eu/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">email.faircode.eu/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/EmailClient" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EmailClient</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>android</span></a></p>
Odin Halvorson<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.online/@thunderbird" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>thunderbird</span></a></span> I really appreciate Thunderbird's team, and these updates are going to finally put it into the running with other modern offerings. I migrated to using it as my daily driver for email management a few years ago, and I'm glad I did, but I'm also so excited to be looking at desktop improvements and an android app. </p><p><a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Thunderbird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Thunderbird</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Email" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Email</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/EmailClient" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EmailClient</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/OpenSource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenSource</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Mozilla" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mozilla</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Android</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Software" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Software</span></a></p>

I usually only have my "brilliant" ideas at like midnight, 1am, but I don't want to look like a clown sending said ideas at midnight. ;)</p><p>BIG EDIT: Apparently Apple added this feature (and reminders too!) to Mail with Ventura!
