Ian Alexander Martin 🇨🇦 📷<p>These days “Spy Thriller” is thought to promise people zooming around and shooting and punching and crashing through windows and…</p><p>John le Carré, however, did it far better by concentrating on the people involved. To care about the characters, they have to be real people. In this series, you get a bit of action, but you care about the characters far more.</p><p>And you’ll never think of Alia Shawkat the same way again.</p><p>Very highly recommended.</p><p>★★★★★</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/review" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>review</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/CineMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CineMastodon</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/TV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TV</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/DisneyPlus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DisneyPlus</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Hulu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hulu</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/FX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FX</span></a></p>
