MxFraud<p>Nice variety of games this week.</p><p>I had a go at Castle Falkenstein.<br>Its a diceless TTRPG with a steampunk setting.<br>I was a playing a pregen character called Claude Benoit of Benoit's Sword.<br>The diceless aspect was nice. It uses standard playing game (and I can tell that hearing about that game a while back planted the seed for the Garlic Johny game mechanic I'm designing now).<br>(Some) other players were a bit intense tho.<br>GM did a fab job nevertheless.</p><p>I also had 2 games of Mordheim.<br>My Lizardmen engine is finally getting started, still 2 defeats in the last 2 games.<br>Not a skill was rolled out of 35-ish experience pointa gained tho.<br>My Captain got bitten off the board, was sent to the pit, got bested there too and only has a chest problem (and no gear).<br>I'm planning on bringing loads of hired sword/personae dramatis for the next games.</p><p>One annoying thing is player didn't get to have a second game because another player didn't have the energy for second game. To add insult to injury, we had to wait extra long for another other player to finish their game before I could taxi everyone home (so that was 3 hours of nothing for that non tired player, ouch)</p><p>I finally played some boardgames too.<br>I lost (badly) two games of Machi Koro 2, it was great fun.<br>We also played concept, which was a good end of the night nonsense o'clock game. We didn't read the rules but had lots of laught.
