As always the Scandinavians score well, but there are some other notable high (and lows) scores.

Finland again tops global happiness rankings.

The World Happiness Report 2025 ranks Finland as the happiest country globally for the eighth consecutive year.

Released Thursday by the University of Oxford's Wellbeing Research Centre, the report also places Denmark, Iceland and Sweden in the top four, the US falls to lowest position ever.

The World Happiness Report is out, and again the USA proves its dismal reputation.

All these Americans proudly claiming that they are living in the best country in the world do not realize that that does not seem to apply to most people around them.

Again the USA did not reach the top 20 of happiest countries. The richest country of the world is apparently very bad in creating happiness for its citizens.

I wonder what the report will say next year.

The house did NOT get cleaned this afternoon as we had a Full Pack Approval Test for the new mattress! Good sleep was had by all, and Remy lingered longest, so we all like it.

It's lower than the last mattress, which sold last night and was picked up today by a lovely young local family. We hope they find it comfortable and it makes them happy. Just goes to show, comfort needs change over a life.
