Should have been doable in two days, but took 5. My hands are TRASHED. The most critical thing for pants is the rise, from and back. Anyway, this particular pattern and a PJ pattern that I got from the big sewing shops both fit me well where it counts. I also REALLY like the deep pockets that are sewn on. I first made the shorts from a used flannelette sheet to wear as PJs and I really liked them. AtiyaThe dreaded May dress project is two tasks away from finished. I need to hem the length and tack the pockets to the waistband. That’s 4 weeks from now. This was the second dress I made at <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/dressmaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#dressmaking</a> classes in <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Vi%E1%BB%87tNam" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ViệtNam</a> with <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/BaliBatik" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BaliBatik</a>. It was a clone of the earlier dress and I especially like the back darts.
