Standish Hospital started out as a manor house. Later, it saw a variety of medical uses over the decades. Eventually, it closed in 2004.

Das Bild zeigt ein Graffiti an einer verwitterten Wand, das ein Tyrannosaurus-Rex-Skelett neben einem friedlichen Tiger darstellt, was einen Kontrast zwischen Aussterben und Überleben suggeriert.

Das Bild zeigt ein detailliertes Graffiti an einer alten, verwitterten Wand, die eine beige-ockerfarbene Farbe mit Flecken von Grün aufweist, die auf Moos oder Schimmel deuten. Man spürt eine gewisse Ruhe und Melancholie, aber auch eine gewisse Spannung aufgrund der Größe des Dinosauriers. Der kleine Hut fügt einen unerwarteten, fast spielerischen Aspekt hinzu.

'Zwei Farben' #fotovorschlag

Das Bild zeigt eine verlassene und verfallene Minigolfbahn im Freien.

Das Foto zeigt einen Abschnitt einer verlassenen Minigolfbahn, der im Vordergrund liegt. Die Bahn ist aus Beton und weist eine abgeblätterte, grüne und rosafarbene Farbe auf, die stark vom Zahn der Zeit gezeichnet ist. Die Oberfläche ist rissig und zerbrochen, und es liegen einige Tannenzapfen auf der Oberfläche. Die Bahn selbst ist in einer leicht geschwungenen Form angelegt. Im Hintergrund sieht man einen verwilderten Bereich mit trockenen Gräsern und Bäumen, die den Eindruck von Vernachlässigung und Verfall verstärken. Die gesamte Szene wirkt verlassen und still. Die Atmosphäre ist melancholisch und leicht gespenstisch, evoziert ein Gefühl von Nostalgie und dem Verfall von einst beliebten Orten. Das Licht deutet auf einen sonnigen Tag hin, was den Kontrast zwischen der Leblosigkeit der Bahn und der Helligkeit der Umgebung noch verstärkt. Es sind keine Menschen oder Tiere auf dem Bild zu sehen. Die Farbpalette ist hauptsächlich in Erdtönen gehalten, mit Ausnahme der verblassenden Farbe der Minigolfbahn.

Derelict and fire damage; an abandoned late 1800s roadside inn and ballroom in Germany.

After the reunification of Germany in 1990, the autobahn was opened up to all travellers. With a huge reduction in passing trade, the inn began to struggle. Eventually, it closed in the mid-2010s.

Ich glaub, die Bewertungen auf booking.com waren zuletzt nicht so doll…
