#MajorasMask running natively with 60 FPS on #Linux #PC , no emulation, with an improved #N64-like controller by #Retrobit. What a time to be alive.

i love the ocarina mechanic in #ZeldaOoT and #MajorasMask, i think more games should do something similar. having an instrument where you can enter a certian sequence that you should try to remember to trigger events feels really rewarding
On the final temple of #MajorasMask and I’m full Gandalf “I have no memory of this place”. I know I completed this game at least twice, but I honestly cannot remember the Stone Temple.
It’s amazing. And completely a prototype for a lot of the BotW and TotK temples.
I really love #MajorasMask and I wish Nintendo would do something similar again. It’s particularly all the little interactions of the characters in clocktown, the way their lives unravel or resolve, and the particular way that Link can help them which feels so much more personal and genuine than it does in most #Zelda side quests.
Then of course you’ve got a very simple “what you do changes events” set up… that you can reply and alter as many times as you like. Imagine that in a modern game.
Hello there. Just a dude from Germany who likes videogames and #tabletop. Used to be #Warhammer now it's mostly the #BatmanMiniatureGame with some homebrew and #Necromunda. I love the creative side of the hobby but BMG has really caught me because of the tactical gameplay and deckbuilding.
I read comic books and watch movies.
He/him white guy but this is a #lgbtqia -friendly account.
Favourite games are #MajorasMask, #SmashBros,
My duet partner, Ella, and I had our first rehearsal in over 3 years this week and...honestly, it felt really nice Our sheet music is a mess, my ears were so out of practice that they literally had trouble telling whether the violin and ocarina were in tune or not, even with a steady note, and we were, without a doubt, rusty
Despite all that, we had fun playing (and talking) and the rehabilitation process is well on its way
She's allowed me to post some of the recordings that I took (mostly as references to improve), so here's a sneak-peak into the back-stage part of a musician's life
NEW BLOG POST!
Expanding on my analysis of Majora's Mask, this time I'm looking at #NarrativeDesign and pacing. How does #Nintendo use cutscenes? Environmental storytelling? Quests?

So after finishing #MetroidPrimeRemaster, which game should i play next? Maybe something old? I was thinking about #MajorasMask, but on the #N64. Its one of my favorit #Zelda games. I also need to finish the #WindWaker but that would mean reactivate my dusty #WiiU. Any suggestions? Something completely different?
Shoutout to the gibdo that literally just wanted some beans.
Thinkin' bout thos; beans, even in the afterlife...
Least favorite dungeon time.
What is it about water currents that make them such frustrating mechanics...the irreversibility, the "didn't know this went here now I gotta do it again", bleh bleh bleh.
Guess who had (has) a huge crush on her (and bombchu bowling alley lady)
If you've neer played majora's mask (shame!) the solution is quite obvious.
I like that the Oath to Order sounds like such a sad song, but if you notice the notes while it dips as low as possible the final note is higher than it started
Symbolism seems pretty obvious but I was 10 when this came out

I finally got around to uploading a video from two weekends ago my friends and me playing Stone Tower Temple from Majora's Mask! It's an unrehearsed one-shot, but it was a ton of fun ヽ(=´▽`=)ノ
I hope you enjoy~
(If you'd like to help me survive, or even have extra to maintain my violin, donation links are over in my linktree and I appreciate every last bit~)
