Voting is Your POWER<p>By VOTING for DEMOCRATS, WE PROTECT OUR FREEDOM </p><p>The Healey-Driscoll Administration in Massachusetts has implemented two standing orders allowing approximately 500,000 eligible Massachusetts residents to obtain free over-the-counter birth control pills and prenatal vitamins. <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/uspol" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>uspol</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/uspolitics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>uspolitics</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/freedom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>freedom</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/birthcontrol" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birthcontrol</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/health" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>health</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/massachusetts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>massachusetts</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/mapol" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mapol</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/mapoli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mapoli</span></a></p><p><a href="https://www.wgbh.org/news/health/2025-03-06/state-orders-open-access-to-free-prenatal-vitamins-birth-control" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">wgbh.org/news/health/2025-03-0</span><span class="invisible">6/state-orders-open-access-to-free-prenatal-vitamins-birth-control</span></a></p>

rednikki<p>The law in Massachusetts is that minor children need the signature of one parent in order to change their gender marker. The form has only one signature slot. But, contrary to the law and the form, the Registry of Vital Records and Statistics is rejecting forms that don’t have signatures from two parents. (Where does the second parent put their signature? Unclear.)</p><p>The policy isn’t on their website and the form doesn’t have a spot for a second signature. Applicants don’t get the form back and are required to go through the process of compiling all their information again. </p><p>Seems like something that a large media organization ought to cover. </p><p>Also, if you want a role model for how one person in government can delay or destroy implementation of a law, this is a great example.</p><p><a href="https://toot.boston/tags/massachusetts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>massachusetts</span></a> <a href="https://toot.boston/tags/MAPol" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MAPol</span></a> <a href="https://toot.boston/tags/mapoli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mapoli</span></a> <a href="https://toot.boston/tags/transrights" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>transrights</span></a> </p><p><a href="http://blog.erikashira.com/2024/12/massachusetts-has-sudden-secret-policy.html?m=1" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">http://</span><span class="ellipsis">blog.erikashira.com/2024/12/ma</span><span class="invisible">ssachusetts-has-sudden-secret-policy.html?m=1</span></a></p>
