@drahardja #Microsoft #MS has been calling it #MixedReality for 8-10years.

#MR is a cheat code for #AR

It allows the simulated environment and physical reality to be synchronized and time offset.

Most MR is offset by 20-100ms, but the 12ms for Apple is impressive, but for it to disappear, we probably need 2-6ms.

Most gaming monitors are between 1-6ms now.

I think AVP is the engineering/ physics limitation of this style of tech.

*Metaversed – See Beyond The Hype*, written by XR industry experts Luis Bravo Martins and Samantha G. Wolfe (publisher: Wiley), is a solid business guide. You can learn a lot from the authors, especially when you're new to the subject of metaverse technologies. However, there are also a couple of flaws.

SurfaceCast is a super-flexible streaming toolkit that lets you create shared interactive surfaces from a huge variety of devices, merging up to four separate locations into one shared #MR space.

Examples for what you can build: hybrid physical-virtual whiteboard (a), remote piano teaching (b), "dining at a distance" (c), distributed physical board games or puzzles (d).
