Marmot-men have thick fur that enables them to endure cold conditions easily, even without winter clothing. However, from about October to February their ancestral instinct is telling them to hibernate. During these months this character will be irritable, drowsy and just want to sleep about three quarters of each day. The GM could apply an optional -2 initiative penalty on marmot-human crosses during these months to reflect their sleepy nature.

The bestial human grasshopper is herbivorous and relatively inoffensive, but is still regarded with distrust by humans due to the tendency of these mutants to sometimes enter frenzied feeding phases as a locust, devouring vast quantities of valuable foodstuffs. They are only permitted entry to human communities if accompanied by trusted humans or mutant humans, and even then they will be instructed to keep away from human food supplies and crops on pain of death.

Bestial Human Duck

Humanoid ducks can fly with their wing-arms (20m per round), using their misshapen hands, which protrude from their wings, to either drop ordinance or employ a one handed weapon. They can use a bow, rifle or other two-handed weapon while in the air, but must bring their wings close together, stop flapping and drop at a rate of 10m per round, so typically try to get plenty of elevation before initiating this risky tactic.

While most other bug-humans are shunned by human communities, if not actively reviled or hunted, the bestial humanoid butterfly enjoys at least some acceptance. Although no bug-human can claim to be truly beautiful, the humanoid butterfly has the benefit of large, elegant, brightly patterned wings to help offset its inhuman appearance. Combined with its herbivorous diet, lack of natural weapons, and unpalatable nature, it is not seen as a threat or a potential meal.

Industrial Android
Considered as little more than human shaped forklifts, dumb brutes, and expendable machines of the factory floor, these laborers were however built tough. Besides their strength, robustness and compulsion to work hard, many unique specimens feature one or more useful traits and skills. Besides the fore mentioned attributes, these bulky, typically metal boned humanoid machines are rugged enough to hold their own in a post-apocalyptic world. They normally appear as males but both genderless and female specimens are also found.

As machines took human jobs, and drugs and synth-alcohol became cheaper and more prevalent, people found themselves on the streets. Strangely, it was machines who also came to tend to the victims of addiction and homelessness.

Civilian androids were mass produced and easily the most commonly found models that dig teams unearth. These humanoid robots usually had plastic bones — although many featured fully biodegradable sheathing, bones and parts which have long since decayed into dust.
This unique android, however, is built different from other models. It is either a customized variant, from a limited edition, or a prototype of some rare, purpose-built and perhaps one of a kind design.
