I often challenge the rhetoric of there being "queer", "trans", or "gay" animals. But that's because "queerness" needs challenging. It needs it bc it is inherently <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/anthropocentric" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#anthropocentric</a>, and also <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/eurocentric" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#eurocentric</a> as a <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/system" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#system</a> of identification, even if the <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/interactions" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#interactions</a> themselves are sourced in every <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/human" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#human</a> system on the planet from years before <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/whiteness" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#whiteness</a>.
