This Is My Glasgow<p>Townhouses in Glasgow's Park District. Primarily designed by Charles Wilson, these houses were built in the 1850s, 60s and 70s.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/glasgow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>glasgow</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/parkdistrict" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>parkdistrict</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/architecture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>architecture</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/architecturephotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>architecturephotography</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/parkcircus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>parkcircus</span></a></p>
This Is My Glasgow<p>An old door bell plate from a townhouse in the Park District area of Glasgow, with separate buttons for Visitors and Servants. I've always presumed the Servants option was to be used to get the attenton of the servants of the house (for deliveries etc) rather being for servants to ring.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/glasgow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>glasgow</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/doorfurniture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>doorfurniture</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/doorbell" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>doorbell</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/architecture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>architecture</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/parkdistrict" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>parkdistrict</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/glasgowhistory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>glasgowhistory</span></a></p>
This Is My Glasgow<p>I came across this rather unusual reverse bay window today. It's in the 1856 former Trinity College in the Park District of Glasgow. I've love to know what's going on inside to require this sort of window layout. It was the only one on an otherwise flat wall.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/glasgow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>glasgow</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/architecture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>architecture</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/window" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>window</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/windowswednesday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>windowswednesday</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/reversebaywindow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>reversebaywindow</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/buildingdesign" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>buildingdesign</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/glasgowbuildings" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>glasgowbuildings</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/parkdistrict" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>parkdistrict</span></a></p>
